Well, exactly. And, as a result, the second season isn't licensed by American distributors.

Well technically it is licensed except Bandai hasn't announce it yet.

huh?

How the hell can Ali be too evil? His a mercenary whose only goal is to kill people and make money, he has no higher purpose than that. His nothing by a slimeball, and Scott Mcneil played that beautifully.

To be blunt Ali is a two dimensional Disney villain., but that's not a bad thing, take Clayton and Gaston who do a wondeful job at being evil.

Poor logic. Code Geass R2 was licensed before it was even aired in Japan.

What's wrong with being a mercenary, or working for a paycheck? Half the world sells themselves for a paycheck. At least Ali found a job that he can enjoy.

Ali is amoral and self-centered, not evil. He doesn't do evil for evil's sake, he does whatever gets paid and is needed. That's a pretty common stance taken to its extremes, and hardly needing over-villainous inflections. If there was no one looking to hire him and his services, Ali would just be an out-of-a-job bum. He doesn't start fights, he just picks up fights that other people started. Unlike, say, Alejandro and Ribbons, who prolonged old fights and started entirely new ones just to further their own agenda.

Hmm are they not going to sell the Side story seperately? I've mixed feeling about the dub. If they also licensed the second season I'll buy the dub version. but if not I'd rather ask my uncle to buy me the Jap version

Mmmmm... I'm thinking of getting the Region 2 BEEZ Entertainment version instead.

And that's not all, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 will also receive the special edition treatment and have a release date announced for the 15th of June. The list of extras on the special edition includes a 12 cm action figure, a PVC badge, a key holder and an embroided blazon, all symbols from the series. It also includes vol.1 of the series and a box with an exclusive artwork made to contain the other 2 volumes of the series.

They'll be bilingual. The only Gundam TV series to come out in R1 without a subtitled version included on the discs is the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

Thanks. The reason I asked was because I was looking on Amazon for it and they do have it, but they listed it as just Japanese with English subtitles, not both Japanese or English. Thanks anyway! I'm gonna ask my mom to get me part 1 of the DVDs on my birthday.

Gundam 00 season 2 has been confirmed to air on Sci-Fi TV.

And I watched episode 3 dubbed and...waaaaagh! Usually I don't care what voices they give to characters, but Ribbons's dub voice I don't know if I can adjust to! They made him sound older! They got rid of the Furuya Tohru voice he originally had! Ribbons is supposed to sound French!! I bet even my autistic friend John could pull him off!

Quit complaining. You may not like the voices but i still think its sounds fine but then again, peoples opinions tend to vary.
