The final episode was perfect in every way. Made my eyes all misty. If I had to choose which goodbyes I enjoyed the most, it'd be Gintoki and Hijikata's. That was the first time they laughed so heartily together. Hopefully, it won't be the last.

Another season of Gintama, another 10/10. Can't wait for the next one!

Oh, and they tease the next arc in Gintama manga in the end card. Damn it. Dont hype it up just yet...

Started getting a tear in my eye seeing Gin and Hijikata laugh like that, but that end, going all the way back to beginning when we first met the Shinsengumi - I was not expecting that. We've come so, so far, from mere strangers to this close bond. It really did make it seem like a farewell.

10/10 from me as well.

Now the wait for the supposedly final(?) season of Gintama since the author said he's ending the series but hey it's a gorilla so who knows

I'm actually still kinda reeling in last week's Isaburo and Nobume backstory. That tragically entwined fate with both having to save the other from a certain lonely demise won't be soon forgotten. Isaburo was so close to making it, sooo close.. damnit. It is still very sad to think about all that especially the significance that the name has to him, the meaning of it and the hopes for the child bearing it. Love the shine in Nobume eyes to signify a new lease of life with Isaburo's blessing, manga can't show that as well as the anime.

For the epilogue this week, I say Kondou's farewell was pretty good as well. Hey, dude finally graduating from being hentai stalker lol. I thought the scenes a few episodes ago of showing him not hiding in the corners of the house were actually quite sad, glad he survived.

What a run this season has been. Sad that Gintama anime season is going on hiatus again, no doubt there will be yet another great comeback when we resume with more chapters. Damn, I guess that will be something like another 2 years like the last time.

I knew kondo and otae were OTP, that goodbye was beautiful, those three really looked like a family. Great season this was, I think it was the best so far and I more than happy for the end card, gintama is going to be animated to the end, just need to wait.

too bad but I can't be that patient so I'm jumping in to the manga.

The Anime will likely return when the manga is over, I mean it's close already as it is. Had they not skipped a few arcs maybe it'd still be going, guess they knew the ratings would get real high if they entered fan favorites. How does the Anime team know how popular arcs are from the Manga?

LOL I remember fans comments saying Gintoki X Hijikata were canon do to the ending scene here.

I'll miss the series, it's been a blast
