Maybe there will be something since Miharu and Raimei pics are that close. And when the 2 male and female leads are like that and right in the middle it usually means something.

And the fact that Kouichi does not have a arrow going towards Raimemi or is the little hump there, but that only says aquintance, so expect nothing to come out from these 2.

If there is going to be something with romance or couple or whatever it will be between Miharu and Raimei.

The BL must just be because Miharu can do the thing with the face. And we still have to see what effect that will have on Raimei.

Miharu is surrounded by the other three, not just Raimei. It may be because she's also part of the group with the leader of Fuuma? (indicated by the orange square?)

Btw, how reliable is this chart? It doesn't include other characters so maybe it came out very early before the rest of the Vols aree published?

Kouichi and Raimei's scenes are partly done for humor in the early Vols, it's not until Vol 7 when they REALLY emphasized on Raimei's reaction when she was told Kouichi may be killed.

Miharu and Raimei are friends. In fact, if there IS romance in the series, I want Miharu to end up with a newly created female character that he actually SHARES CHEMISTRY with.

After two epsiodes this at least isn't on top of my drop list which is already remarkable for a shounen fighting series. I always love reading your posts SoL. Yeah, this is a bit different from the usual shounen fare. I'm not getting the same cut-and-paste vibes to which I'm accustomed. Maybe it will become more typical, but I'm hopeful that it is more unique in its pacing and focus. I'm always hopeful when I start enjoying a new show.

Contrary to Monochrome the BL vibes aren't that apparent, at least to me. The slashability potential is below Bus Gamer.

The BL is at th level where you can enjoy it if you like that kind of thing, or fail to notice it if you don't.

There's slashability, and then there is slash. I've seen everything slashed, so I know how easy it is for some people. (There is basically no shounen-ai in Harry Potter, but we all know how slashable it is.) I'll wait to find out if BL is implied or inferred. See, Harry Potter slash is supported by corrupted minds of those who probably thinks Harry Potter is all about Snape banging Harry who's in the middle of a gay tug of war between Draco and Ron, who they believe it's normal for Ron to see his twin brothers wrestle in that u know, love-love kinda way on a daily basis. In other words, anyone who claims there is even an DRIP of slash in Harry Potter aside from Dumbledore's preference is delusional.

As far as yaoi goes in Nabari no Ou, when I said there is BL potential, I was only going along with the flow of people who're already convinced there is BL in the series when a few pages ago, me as well as other yaoi fans said... there's not MUCH. it's so damn funny to see people saying its YAOI ITS YAOI while the fangirls say there's freaking NOT, when it's normally the other way around. (Then again it's not like I'm helping much by throwing wood into the fire, is there )

It's from the official site, but probably from early in the series. Again this feels so much like "Tactics" where the two main male leads basically just have a close innocent relationship, and there is just a scene or two that makes you go "hello."

Man, I thought the main character was a girl for a bit when he constantly kept doing that blush maneuver on his teacher, or maybe it was my mind trying to block out what could possibly come out of this.

I saw a Tactics doujin that went up to $500. I was so sure that day I was just seeing things. This explains the unreal number.

And I'm getting sick of talking about BL.

I'll take my leave of this thread now, but I'd like to clear up some misconceptions:

1. This series is not a vague form of Junjou Romantica. No, Miharu mentally raping Kumohira-sensei doesn't count. It's the weary anti-BL/neutral/less-friendly BL people who stirred things up (and I threw some fuel into the fire, so I feel guilty enough to make this post. As long as you be on guard on Miharu/Yoite's scenes, it's noticeable actually but you'll be fine. )

2. Miharu/Raimei = friends. I know the formula hero + heroine, but unfortunately, Raimei is not the main heroine, and Nabari no Ou doesn't work that way. But who knows what will lead in the future.

3. Nabari no Ou is really a great ninja anime, please don't miss it.
