There are six skins. The one Hijikata found was forgotten by Edogai (he was kind of in a hurry). It shouldn't really affect Tsurumi's plan, since they have no clue whether the skin they found is real or not anyway.

Only in this show can you hear that kind of sentence pronounced by a loli. This whole part was really fun.

I enjoyed Hijikata and Shinpachi's flashback. A shame they had Kazuya Nakai voice young Shinpachi and not Hijikata. Anyway, you could tell the bond between those two men is extremely strong.

With no clues how to differentiate between the fake and real skins, they need to meet Nopperabou and ask him, with Shiraishi being their only hope to enter and exit the prison stealthily. And he royally fucked up at the end of the episode.

Sugimoto still wins because he isn't missing any body parts. I hated him and his brother in the first season, but the loss of his sanity has made him entertaining. I wonder how he's going to fight with only one leg now. He most certainly isn't going to give up on killing Sugimoto.

This chapter, first shiraisaki fear of sugimoto and the failed plans, tsurumi dark charisma and friends in the army and how that ended making a prothesis-arm for nikaido, this series always throw your curveball with their dark humour, that was funny.

Then the plan to rescue shiraisaki become harder but open more to get into the jail later on. and Sugimoto knows now...

Shiraishi's secret is out and now I'm curious to see what Sugimoto will do with the knowledge that he was leaking info.

Guys, I have two doubts about the second season:

1 - Is it better technically than the first? I mean, animation and art.

2 - Has anyone seen the episodes that went out for blu-ray? I want to see if it's true if the bear has been redesigned.

Tsurumi was mostly scary in the first season but in this one he's plain hilarious. All of his scenes in this episode were gold.

Sugimoto knows about Shiraishi's betrayal now, and what he said after he found out made me even more curious about his past. Sounds like he was betrayed before. We really don't know much about him when you think about it. We know his reputation as a soldier and his motivation for finding the gold, but that's about it.

For me, the joke got even funnier when they let that random guy be part of the scene where they were congratulating Nikaido.
