It's not a complex xanatos gambit. Kazuma just goes up to her, asks if she's Tabane, then stabs her with a knife utensil he picked up from Ichika's room. Honestly, it's not meant to hurt her, more like say "This story isn't going to be all about harem and incest.".

There is something called nocturnal emission, it's different between individual. Nocturnal Emission does not equal erotic dream and vice versa. On guys about 15 years and below, usually happens 5 weeks once, give or take.

Believe or not, this also happens with women (insert "You're wet" joke here)

As for menstrual cycle... well, of course it' HEAVILY different on individuals. It's not like 29/30 female student has mens on the same day. How long the cycle is can be different as well. All in all, the cycle is usually about 28 days once.

I meant the age. Sorry I wasn't clear, I know time varies. I'm sure there's a general age margin for this. Women having periods on the same day or guys having dreams on the same day would be a colossal nightmare.

I'm still wondering how I should have Inami confront Tabane, in a non-angsty manner that is. I'm leaning towards the idea that she is the one who launched the missiles.

Sabre is going to be mostly about Tsurugi fitting into life in the Academy. While the final part of series will tie in all the remaining ends, as Sabre would somewhat-foreshadow them.

He already acknowledged the "unproductive" part towards the end of Bouclier. And he knows(but has yet to be told in-story) that taking revenge on Tabane would also mean that he's doing Praxidike a great favour.

And he doesn't want that. All he needs is a peaceful closure to the case of his parents' passing.

Well, that's as far as I can help. What I mean is the balance of Personal and Public value, which will spill into conflict between two character with different take on it. The limit is endless when it comes to Tabane

Tsurugi and Cecilia quietly inch themselves along the dark corridor as they head for the office that Inami’s residing in.

“It’s quiet… Guess Léonide-san isn’t here yet.”

“Maybe. Still, why are we doing this again, Cecilia?”

“It’s obvious isn’t it? If they realize we’re not around, they might do… something else.”

“But Ina-kun isn’t that kind of person. He’s… faithful.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Well… That’s because… umm…”

Tsurugi recalls the time back before summer when she shared her first kiss with Inami, and during the festival where she confessed her feelings.

‘I-I can’t tell her that… She likes him too… If she knows that we’re together, she might…’

“Oh hi! You guys are early!”

Inami’s cheerful voice sends a quick chill down their spines, prompting them to quickly turn around and see him dressed in casual tee and pants.

“I-Inami!”

“Ina-kun! We’re umm… We’re here!”

“As am I!” Iris calls out as she walks towards them from behind.

“Ah, so we’re all here now. Great! Shall we?” Inami then ushers the girls into the office where they settle down, sitting on rotary chairs in a circle.

“All right, Iris. What’s the issue?”

“It’s pretty important so I’ll get straight to the point.”

Inami simply nods with a slight frown, paying close attention as to what Iris is about to say.

“Inami, what do you know about these mysterious drones that we’ve been fighting against? Specifically, the non-Golem ones.”

“Golem…?”

“That’s our designation for those jet-black drones that look like hulking IS units.”

“I see… So by ‘non-Golem’, you meant the other drone units…”

“Yes. You seem to have a… connection with them from what I’ve noticed back during the incident in Nasushiobara…”

“Incident…? What incident?” Cecilia asks as she does not know about the previous replica drone attack.

“There was one more IS replica hidden within Mount Nasu… It came to life and started terrorizing Nasushiobara. We eventually took it out.” Inami briefly explains the incident.

“I see…”

“You seemed familiar with the drone unit during that time, Inami. Hence why I’m curious… If you happen to know who’s responsible for those things.”

“I do. They belong to my former organization, Praxidike.”

“Praxidike…?”

“Yeah.”

“Care to elaborate your connection… or former connection… with that group?”

“Simply put, Iris. I was their test pilot… and I was assigned as the sole pilot for the Minerva, a battle unit built from stolen, outdated IS technologies.”

“That unit of yours? Doesn’t look outdated to me though… Back during Nasushiobara, that is.”

“Indeed. It was given an overhaul before summer, after we foiled their warhead attack on the Academy.”

“Warhead attack…? Don’t tell me you were that daredevil who flew close to that one missile when it spins into the sky.”

“Uhh… That… That was me, actually.”

“…Wow. And you survived that explosion…”

“That too… Anyway, yes. Praxidike is behind these drones and it seems they’ve rolled out a new model. They’re really hell-bent towards their goal.”

“What would that be, Inami?”

“Simply speaking, putting an end to the IS System.”

Iris frowns at his firm reply while looking straight into his eyes.

‘…What an absurd goal… But judging from that look, he’s definitely not joking about that answer.’

“And I’m making sure that does not happen, which is pretty much all there is to it.”

“I see…” Iris replies as she closes her eyes then gets off her chair.

Also, just for information's sake, Iris is actually Aegis Three, the security trooper Inami worked with against the Gospel replica.

An IS that mainly specialized in defense.

Defense specific technology:
>Force Disperser (located on arms) which nullify attack by breaking/dispersing it into wider area and reduce the damages to near negligible level (comparable to reducing the pressure by increasing the surface area.... literally stretching an attack thin)....
(This technology is also Dunois' answer to third gen IS's beam weapon development..... if you can't make Lemonade with lemons, turn it(lemons) into anti-lemonade weapon to screw up your opponent's lemonade...)

Downside to this technology: The IS can't use Beam weaponry.... reason lies in the technology itself.... it neutralized/severely weaken its own beam attack.....Reason unknown....

>Energy shield enforcing generator(also Located in arms) which strengthen the energy shield with the cost of draining the shield energy (It is three times harder than normal Energy barrier)

and as the last line of defense...
The armor of the IS is much thicker than average IS..... technically useless but better safe than sorry....

On offensive-wise.....
>Gray Scale II (First pair of wings)
Improved technology which allow it to strike rapidly.....unfortunately this also means it run out of ammo faster than the original.

>Libra Reloader (Second pair of wings)
reloading unit which reload the Gray Scale for round two.

>Loaf Rifle (Primary Weapon)
A highly specialized rifle that fire a special Ammo that drill into the energy barrier for a while before being grind into dust by the barrier....

>Pile driver (Located on both arms)
Work exactly like its name.....This attack as almost powerful as the Gray Scale but deemed weaker than it due to slower firing speed (5 times slower and one shot from Gray Scale isn't powerful enough to put an IS down). In exchange, it has infinite usage (It operate on Pneumatic system and does not require the use of Cartridges...)

Technically last resort weapon when the IS ran out of ammo. Reason why it is slower than Gray Scale (the original): time needed to compress air.....before firing another shot

Good for taking the opponent by surprise, thinking that Gen 2/2.5 IS is useless without any ammo.....

>Bread-cutter.... because its a French Machine Seriously, the really really last resort option.... used when Pile Driver is compressing air.....

The IS itself is best described as a Mighty Glacier (well... so long as it still has ammo), high offensive and defensive power(mostly on the defensive side) in exchange of speed. It a little slower than normal IS due to the armor but seriously, it doesn't really matter much if your opponent can only only scratch your armor....with their nails

Fortunately, the IS has one more trump card: Agile Equalizer..... Speed without trading its insane defense... the only problem is the equalizer could only last a few minutes before overheating which means it need some time to cooldown.

@ Stratos - Aren't you going a bit overboard here now? A love triangle's hard enough, but adding things like more harem members when it's clear who he likes just looks mean. Unless you plan to play it for tragedy, in which case it's gonna shift the tone of the story.

@ Treme - Can't help there since I'm bad at tech.

@ Senpai - So about that age. Anyway, I'm trying to list down each problem some of the kids have, and I'd like your opinion on it. The serious chapters deal with resolving them.

Spoiler:

Kazuma (Clone) - Ichika's death and other crapsack world tropes.

Celeste (Laura) - Laura never pays her any attention and strict to the point that it's not funny.

Sara (Tatenashi) - Always being pressured and trained to be the new head. Hard time coping due to young age.

Usami (Tabane) - Tabane's practically never there and only comes back when she needs her help in some kind of experiment.

Asuka (Chifuyu) - Strict parent and almost never gives praise or acknowledgement while pushing her to do better.

Charles (Obvious) - Relatively minor parental abandonment. They do come back when they can, so he's not that troubled.

Shouta (Maya) - Mocked and isolated because of his effeminate looks. Crippling low self esteem and confidence as a result.

Saito (Kanzashi) - Kanzashi almost always seems to spend more time with Aria than with him. Ichika solved this problem by spending time with him, but not anymore since he's in the past. Generation xerox of Kanzashi's resentment.

Everybody else either has minor problems or no problems at all.

I can see most of them has problem, the irony is that it was caused by the parents (themselves has unremarkable childhood), that's good material for more serious part of the story

This has potential for debate about "My problem is bigger than yours", bear in mind though this apply since they're kids, they'll sympathize with each other rather quick and form a bond not unlike that of actual brother and sister as well as one huge crowd of nakama.

The thing that makes it worse is that the present day teens end adding to the problem. First example: Kanzashi notes that Saito looks depressed, so she asks him if he wants go out for some bonding time in the city. Of course, he's happy and excited....till Kanzashi couldn't show because of an emergency. So he waited for God knows how many hours just sitting down and waiting for her and she never showed up.

Side note - I asked Fujin, and he said that Chifuyu got to be chairman because she's the best pilot. Uh.....does might really make right here?

Fujin's mindset is likely justified, but as I said doesn't makes sense unless he portray that she's at least decent for her job to be qualified. Tatenashi might be a goddamn tease and somewhat prideful (even a little), achieving her current position by being the 'strongest student' but she's at the least get her job done.

I can only give starting advice (what I said yesterday) and if you have see anything that is weird(er) feel free to ask

It was only mentioned it was some kind of beach, I think. Still, since there's an Inn, it's probably just reserved for the ISA students during that period.

@ Senpai - Okay: Apparently, hormones act oddly. Is it really dependent on nationality as well? I'm asking for both FI and White Knight, since all the ten year olds seem way too mature.
