Not really, the whole point is being able to protect the people dear to him (Miu being on top of the list), Surpassing the elder is only to be able to marry Miu, and it's only the elder motivating/teasing Kenichi.

IMHO one day he will become a master, and that will be at the end of the manga after he has become the Strongest Disciple (after beating all the disciple of Yami for example) but I don't see Kenichi fighting against a "true" master happening before the end of the Yami arc.

Kenichi is not a normal disceple...

But he his a disciple, and if he isn't a disciple anymore he won't be allowed to fight against the disciple of Yami and that's an important point of the current arc, the master fight against the master, and the disciple against the disciple.

for me, is ok that Miu go to the dark side for now...just like this...Kenichi is going to train very hard for to rescue her.....

The best scenario for me...is that Kenichi is going to train by the Elder..,, and Miu is going to learn the Pencak Silat...

Chikage in this chapter was really cute....

erasing ones memory will not make them forget how to fight. she may not know HOW she is doing things she is doing, but she should still naturally react and fight well.

I mean take michael jordan for example. if you erased his memory I guarantee that you still can't beat him in basketball. You may need to explain some rules quick, but he should still kick your ass in ball

Nope...remeber Kajima? is the disciple of the One Shadow, Nine Fists (Saiga,Miu father)...Kajima probably is a Master...(this is my opinion..I could be wrong)

I think that To learn the Demon fist discipline ( Pencak Silat),takes time...not a month or two..but like one, two years...even she is a genius...

However..ok for Michael Jordon if he plays against me...even if he has erased the memory, he beats me, but if he go against people like him...if you don't train you're self...........

I daresay it's a disguise, so Miu will never discern his true identity. She only remembers him as a masked man, I'll be amazed if she even remembers his name, especially since she doesn't remember her own. It must be an ability similar to Mikumo's, but we'll soon find out.

As for how long it'll take, I'd say over a year at least. No one can master a style in a day, or even a month. Though the longer it takes, the more Miu will be indoctrinated into the YAMI ideology, which is bad news for Ryozanpaku, and especially Kenichi. Dark times lie ahead, dark times indeed.

Miu instinctively knew it was him, which is partly why she attacked him. It was only dismissed later because she had no solid proof.
