So we can consider that zombies are light unless that Takashi and cie are powerfull enough to make them fly . But what is hilarious it's that the other dude can't do that

Also dunno if you noticed that the pictures at the ending , are changing every episode .

Of course, did you forget the first episode? Rei was able to lift one of those zombies with a spear!! Those zombies HAVE to be light, unless these characters are extremely powerful.

Obviously the show takes some liberties, but with a strong enough spear/staff and leverage it's not out of the realm of feasibility that she could lift or flip some of those zombies around without too much effort.

You mean the other way around?

It's as close as it can be. Some added dialogues and slightly altered scenes. A lot of Takashi's monologues are taken out but it doesn't detract anything much.

I actually am more scared of him than zombies since you know that zombies react to the sound and if they bump into you, they will eat you.

While he is completly unpredictable and you have no idea when he will stab you in the back.

But then how do you explain the zombies breaking down the doors, if they are so called "light" then? That's why zombies in this series never seem to make sense.

Zombies' hearts would inevitably stop beating, so the blood would pool in their legs or intestines. This makes them easier to lift due to leverage, and also explains their odd walking behavior.

Their strength comes from rigor mortis tensing up their muscles, causing them to achieve strength beyond their means.

Pretty sure that limiter idea is false realistically speaking but I guess it works for manga/anime where reasons need not apply. Its pretty simple to just write it off as they are strong but still weigh normal if not less and its not really a plothole its just how zombies are.

The brain has little to do with limiters. Without the brain, yes they become "dead" weight, but they still can't break down doors (while light enough that they can be swung around). And assuming that for some reason, the brain isn't functioning (or at least I think the cerebrum's frontal cortex and occipital lobes are messed up)

@Dahahk: It doesn't. Whoever heard of a zombie that hunts using sounds? They aren't bats! Smell would make more sense.

Their hearts may continue to beat, true. But it is no longer certain that oxygen is needed as a nutrient. As I assume the virus will just reanimate dead mitochondria, or they become the mitochondria themselves (self nutrients will last somewhat until they consume meat).

Which brings to another question, it seems like the virus makes the zombies "super" undead humans, which kind of kills the idea of zombies (as cells are supposed to die)

But at least comparing both HoTD and Bio Hazard, one thing from HotD does make sense is that the zombies "die" from being burned (or catching fire) whereas the others can still continue walking for x amount of time.

And looking at latest ep, 2 questions:
How long was the motor biker a zombie? If he could drive that well for that long, he has skills, doesn't he?

Second, aren't nail guns supposed to have a source of "air". I am sure my high school workshop had nailguns that were plugged into "tubes" of air?
