Thanks for the pointer, and you wouldn't happen to know how much the meter was, would you...? I'd check it myself but don't have episode on hand.

4) So I guess that means there's no church, not even for ceremonial functions? Find that a bit hard to contemplate...

Also: Throughout the entire series, people always referred to themselves as strictly Brittanians, never Britons, British, or anything like that, correct? The Navy is the Brittanian Navy, The Marines are the Britiannian Marines... asking because it seems like an awfully redundant mouthful.

They air on TV on the 28th of this month. But they do also air in special events on the 21st of this month. So expect a week of full spoilers for those eps from Saturday.

Hi,
I have just started watching Code geass....a good anime soo far (have seen only up to 4 ep...lol)

This seems a bit like death note...wanting to change the world for good.....but I hope it doesn't have the same ending like Death Note

Hey, I hate to break you guys' hopes....

Official Code Geass site announcement in response to those magazine mis-information.

It says, the scheduling of sequel to Code Geass that was published in magazines are completely false information, and there's no set time frame yet for the sequel's airing date.

... Why would a Gundam series be aired in that timeslot? They normally air on Saturday evenings... never late night on a Thursday (technically early morning on a Friday).

I told ya last time. I know gundam OO will be aired this fall due to avoid despicting rivalries and controversies between gundam and code geass.

You're not suggesting the new GUNDAM is going to be less popular or generate less attention than Code Geass, now are you?

If so, you need to learn a thing or two (or three, or hundred) about the Japanese market.
What you're suggesting is more absurd than saying Gobots is more popular than Transformers.
The amount of money a Gundam franchise generates is so overwhelming, Code Geass (or any other robot shows for that matter) isn't even on the same digit of profit margin.

Aaaaaaaanyways.....

Gundam 00 will most definitly take up the golden time evening time slot, as always.
No sane station would air it in the late-night time slot Code Geass had.

However, it is quite possible that Sunrise doesn't want two of their own shows to compete for the slice of pie.
In this case, the one that would take the harder hit would be Code Geass, as it is the much smaller franchise.

Afterall, they do have the new MACROSS to worry about already.

2007 is shaping up to be the greatest year in many years for robot anime fans.
Now if we had another good super robot show to premier after Gurren Lagann ends, I couldn't ask for more.

Thats true. Its asking for to much this year, though we always have next year for something to take over.

As for Code Geass season 2 air, i wouldn't be surprised if it was April next year.

quite interesting how each year there is like a set "theme" of series to be released :3 this year seems to be more focused on loli and mecha/GAR to be hard hitting ^.^ but i agree...anything would do if it continues to be epic!

I posted this in spoiler section, but it's probably more fitting here.

Hiroshima's RCC station's official site's 7/27 airing schedule.
http://www.rcc-tv.jp/program/?day=20070727&program=tv
27時10分~28時10分 コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ
27:10~28:10 Code Geass (7/28 3:10AM~4:10AM)

It seems fans in Hiroshima will get to see it a day early, instead of late-night 28th (early 29th) for MBS station.

im actually glad that it got licensed meaning that it wont take THAT long for season 1 to come out in England.. well on the ordering site i use that is, specially now that the japanese dvd's arent yet all released, by the time they are it ought to take sevral more months untill id be able to order mine =D which i will certainly do, however im sure someone will be subbing that last episode

I'm pretty sure Code Geass was more popular than Gundam X and Turn A Gundam and maybe G. TBH I think it's more impressive Geass sells 40k per dvd volume with tv ratings of 1.5-2 than Destiny avg 60-65k with ratings of 5-7.
