It's because the Japanese have a thing for blondes. :P It's what made Nishino so popular in Ichigo 100% and probably part of why Sena got so many votes.

Having a larger chest size can also be a deciding factor in the war here. But being blonde really does attract people quite well.

Being a lolicon doesn't help me much in this case, I guess.

Not trying to spark a war here, but I'm surprised to see a lot of Yoroza supporter here. I couldn't like her even if I tried.

I think some of the votes came in from LN readers which gave Sena the huge advantage overall.

Not many people could become Sena fan just because of the prologue and 1st ep, I think

The usual comment out there is "I liked Yozora at the first chapters but she was too much of a bully" and "I like otaku Sena, its like Konata but more cute".

I don't mind Sena but she's too much of a contradiction - she's supposed to be perfect but is such an M and idiotic when it comes to the only S in her life (everywhere else Sena's the S), such is love I suppose! Sena's not quite the Otaku really, she only specialises in Galge. I would never compare Sena with Konata, their personalities are totally different. Cannot imagine Sena utter a sarcastic remark, Yozora on the other hand is full of it.

They are quite different if you ask me.

I can't stand Yozora's mouth. Those words from her are not even sarcastic remarks, but a full blown insults. I'm a type of person who could write an essay just to be sarcastic toward something, so I find her words to be something that I couldn't stand.

Admittedly, thank to Yozora that I find Sena's charm.

That's not Yozora's personality: That's her circumstances (quite opposite of mine) forcing her into desperate measures

Yukimura and Rika sort of falls under the same group for me in the sense that they're good for a few laughs and a some dirty jokes, but I don't really think much of them outside of that.

The same with the Sister of God and the Sister of Darkness, they kinda annoyed me and I don't find their individual skits interesting... Except when they bicker like loli versions of Yozora and Sena then it becomes a riot.

So the two main heroines are the only real choice for me.

...It's another story if we're talking about doujins though.
