Hijiribe arc continues..
She just can't get rid of that stalker.

And we learn more about Ruri. Ruri never met her mother. She had her dad and grandpa as family. They both married into grandma's family from all indications is supernatural. He dad went bankrupt, grandpa died and dad disappeared. As a child she is teased to be monster by town kids because of her grandma. Actually she liked it. That's how her hobby of monsters and monster artist began.

Then comes in Yodigiri Jinai offering her to be an idol. Turns out what he wanted was to test her regenerative powers with some associates. She can't do anything as Yodigiri told her he has her father hostage. Later internet searches about her dad's whereabouts she gets a tip that Yodagiri killed her father. That's when she started killing associates of Yodagiri Jinai. I have a sneaking suspicion it was Izaya who informed Ruri of the murder. If so Yodagiri has more than enough motive to shank Izaya.

The stalker Adabashi is the son of one of Yodagiri's associates whom was killed. He doesn't hate Ruri. In fact he is jealous she killed him.

Adabashi is targeting everybody who associates with Ruri. But he isn't stupid. Yodagiri gave him a call telling him Ruri wwent to headless rider. He wont attack those who can trash him so he attacks Shinra instead. He is also targeting Anri. He doesn't know she is Saika.

Speaking of Saika, Saika is wondering if Ruri is human or a monster. Should she love her or not love her? If we go by this Vorona calling Shizuo a real human is agreed by Saika who dislikes monsters.

Some interesting backstory about Ruri, her family and how she encounter Yodigiri, meanwhile the stalker is still in the loose and causing some troubles for her.
I actually like how Kida apologize to Shizuo and the flick he got after that.

Could Ruri's grandmother be Celty before she lost her memories? It would be an interesting development. Celty with a granddaughter... I wonder how Shinra would react.

Oh and yeah, I initially totally thought Yodogiri forced Ruri to sleep with her sponsors but the truth was much more unconventional.

And Yuhei said their agency boss was playing dumb saying its a sex video.

This is the same setting as Baccano it would not surprise me if Max already met some immortals in the US, like a certain comedic lovable couple, and guessed these people are like Nebula corp with their obsession with the supernatural.

But what happened to Shinra at the end kind of blows everything away.

He's such a lovable dork.

I don't get why he's being beat up though. Probably find out next week.

Though it's never explicitly confirmed Jinnai told the stalker Celty was dangerous, he did tell him about 'the headless rider' on the phone in this episode. (We never see what exactly it is he told him as it switches to a different scene right at that point.)

Well regardless, I assumed some of it will be explained next episode. It seems this arc is coming to a close.

Adabashi probably is just insane in the membrane. That's one way to put it.

Congatulations Adabashi-san. You avoided dealing with Celty. Now you have to face a really angry Celty.
