When I first heard the ED2, I thought it was the worst of the Gundam 00 songs. But then again, at that time I was only really half-listening to it. Then I took time to actually sit down and actually listen to the song. While I felt the song itself is not that inspiring, the singer though was absolutely top-notch. Which is highlighted even more with that the other songs were the opposite: good songs, but mediocre singers IMO.
I haven't been impressed by a singer since last year's Lena Park. And now, what I felt like the worst song of the 00 songs, is now my personal favourite of the series. Good job Stephanie.

I too love "Ash Like Snow" from Gundam 00, the second opening in the series.
Secondly I really actually have to go with the first Gundam Wing opening. Takes me way back... Oh how I miss daily Toonami showings of Gundam and Zoids... *Sighs.* Mm... The tragedy of it all...

I have to agree with Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru. Destiny has a lot of baggage with its end game, but NOT its incredible ED. Just one of the most emotional songs in any Gundam IMO.
Oh, and Heero's theme and the battle themes in Mobile Suit Gundam will always be classics too. |

I like the TV size version of Friends than the full because it had more accoustic which felt the song was balanced.
Anyone know if the TV size versions will be included in the next 00 OSTs?

Talking about Gundam 00's songs...
Daybreak's Bell: Well, it's L'arc-en-ciel. The drums are excellent, and Hyde's voice is also good. But I think Daybreak's Bell lacks of beautiful melodies... Wana: Extremely cool guitar strikes! But the vocalist is just so-so... Ash Like Snow: Cool beats and guitars. I'd say this song has the best instruments among other Gundam 00 songs. However, I think the vocalist's voice is not too good... Friends: Nice beats and beautiful high-pitched voice of the vocalist, but it comes with less catchy instruments. But I think this is the best among those mentioned above... BTW my favorite song in Gundam series so far is "Moment" by Vivian and Kazuma, the 2nd OP of Gundam SEED |
