Maybe the author was trying to go in a direction but then changed idea halfway? Or just prepped the stage for Lime betrayal?

Question: Someone have read the LN and can tell us differences from the WN? For example the manga made so Makoto naming the 3 slave pact beings boosted their abilities, I'm guessing that is something adeed to the LN, there is anything else like that?

Lime didn't betray them or anything.....

just some Lime knew Naval in the past and that Hibiki had given her hope.
Hibiki inviting Lime to join her since his style and such is just like Naval's, and Lime refusing.

he was given the job of gathering information after all, and he is doing it.
well if he had met her before he had met Makoto & Tomoe, he probably would of accepted joining her.

I don't remember seeing anything about the name giving a boost in the WN, the way he granted to them was simply because they wanted one and Mio needed it.
When I read the manga chapter and they made it clear it was something different from the pact I thought it was a idea token from Tensei Slime but was cool.

I honestly forget when it was mentioned, but I don't read the manga so I have no idea about what goes on in that. I remember Makoto learning about the names granting power based on certain factors later and then wondering if the names he gave Mio and Tomoe were fine and didn't hurt their power or something to which Tomoe said something like they were.

Actually there is a WN chapter about the name giving part in the raw. The translation missed that chapter. It's basically almost the same as the manga part.

Then it was something added even to the WN, good to know.
the translator wrote how he don't want to do some filler chapter, maybe it was there.

Someone should tell the translator to stop using the Wayback machine version now. Because the new version already have chapters changed and revised in the middle and notice there's some chapter differences between the way back and the current. Especially in the current arc.
What he's translating is out of date

Expecially the current volume 3. Both the Wayback machine and the one on the official site version are two different things.
The Wayback machine version is outdated by 4 years

It's just that some of the chapter titles were comparatively different. And you chapters were added and removed and the order was changed in some of them.

You can do whatever the hell you want.

Then we were losing more than a few info of the LN but even some updated stuff in the WN...beggars can't be choosers, better than nothing at all, and we have this thread who help getting the missing things.
