Indeed, and if you weren't standing too close, you'd think Miku was an authentic hologram. I went there pretty much for the technology. Line was long, very crowded, lots of shouting... etc

I have one word to describe it: CRAAAAZZZZEEEEHHHH!!!

- Tak (Sigh, but my favorite song was not part of the concert )

The Third Reich has a reputation of being a rather popular inspiration for fictitious works. Mainstream stuff like Valkyria for example, where even ammunition caliber sizes literally correspond to their German counterpart to the last detail.

But this is probably the first time I saw a compilation like this. I just had to get it for shits n' giggles.

So it can do a proper GERWALK pose now?

I'm kind of tempted to invest in some of these, as the 1/72 scale kits take so freaking long to build and are a pain to transform and pose but it looks like the price tags on these things might nix that plan.

So how much are these things? (Yes I know, there's a huge markup on imports, but a base price will give me at least a bit of an idea of what I might be able to expect.)

Looks like we have a release date for the BD/DVD release of the 2nd movie:

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/201...0/macross_ps3/

October 20th, I think the first movie's release was around the same time.

And there is cheer practice going on right now that nets you either a Sheryl or Ranka headband for your Home avatar.

First movie was Oct 7th last year - going by the cinematic release dates of the films, we're getting it about 6-7 weeks earlier than I expected!

Additional contents as follows (source: yaraon)

Normal Hybrid Pack:
70mins additional video material
48p colour booklet
All contained within a 3-sided box.

'Super Dimensional' Special Edition:
Hybrid Pack, plus
Movie Poster Art collection (DVD-jacket size)
Mini-sized movie pamphlet
Mini-key frame art collection
(a copy of) the script used at the recording (<= ok, this I want!)
Custom theme for use in your PS3
A specially-made box.

Now excuse me while I go off to cry that (1) I can't just get the movie as a BD, and (2) I can't order it from amazon...
