Question A-H Naruto episodes

Episode 98 will play for seven seconds then stop. I checked the CRC and there was nothing wrong. Is it the download or Divx?

The same thing happens to me. I tried Divx, media player classic and real player.

At least I know it isn't only me.

I was able to watch the episode without problems and I guess I can help you to do the same:

- Uninstall all of your previous codecs
- Go here and download and install ffdshow.
- Playback in your favourite player (I hope it's not the DivX one though )

at first it didn't work for me, then i tried terminating azereus, then it works
not sure why, but it was still opening the file so that other programs can't read it

Umm, no. Definitely not the reason why you could not playback the file.

actually, when i opened the file with virtualdub just to check it, virtualdub said that another program is currently using the file and it can't access it, and i opened up taskinfo2003 to check, and i saw azereus still has access to the file, so i tried terminating.

That's different. By playing a file back you are only reading the file content which is no problem while seeding since you still have the exact video the swarm is downloading.
If you try to open it with VirtualDub, however, VirtualDub assumes you want to modify the file and will tell you that the file is already in use which prevents VirtualDub to write in the file (regardless if you want to watch it through VirtualDub or actually modify the file, VirtualDub will assume that you want to modify the file)
That's my guess.

So what are you people saying about these episodes? I've tried that last few from A-H and it has not been working. I can watch for a few seconds then the episode dies. I then have to move to another player. What is going on here? All other episodes that come from everyone but A-H work fine, but for whatever reason the A-H episodes don't work with DivX.
