I found the full-length OP and ED to be . . . maybe a bit long. Maybe a bit repetitive. The changes and breaks in Utauyo MIRACLE! (especially the two guitar solo) give it the edge over NO, Thank You! which really has that one slow, pretty, break to keep it from sounding excessively repetitive. As one can guess, I preferred the OP to the ED, in spite of the OP's questionable use of "ludicrous speed" tempo near the end.
Yui's B-Side sounds like what'd happen if you mixed '60s sunny pop rock with '90s bubblegum pop, and hooked it up to an IV delivering pure sugar water. I like the result. The Mio B-side . . . bog-standard, three-chord, "post-grunge" rock. It's not bad, mind you . . . those three chords are arranged very well. It's just if I'm going to listen to a hard rocking song, I'd like it to be a bit more instrumentally interesting.

Youtube audio or "snipping the audio from the fansub" are avenues of last resort for me. In most cases, there's been far too much compression or processing noise, very noticeable except maybe in my car on a bumpy road. Quote:
Much of Japanese anime music is simply too bland or poppish for me (my eyes are like o.O when I read gushing posts over some of the OP/ED tunes on some other series). K-On! music sticks out quite a bit from the "usual stuff".

So I just noticed isn't Kira Kira Days, Yui's "ichi ni san shi Gonah" song but slightly different cause around 1:20 I could swear Yui sings ichi ni san shi ramen or something like that .
Also I love the full version of new OP and ED both are great. Girls in Wonderland is better than most of the K-ON B side songs have been .

I got addicted to the new OP, Utauyo!! MIRACLE... mainly because of the instrumentals since they sound so catchy. It easily beats Go Go Maniac because it's not a big mess (fast singing = can't tell what she is singing).
No Thank You! is good, but it's a bit long.

Just a couple of brief thoughts on the songs that just debuted in today's episode.
That "Side Dish" song: Well, this is Yui we're talking about, however, regarding the parts of the lyrics concerning rice, the one thing that was going through my head was "'Ichiban Ushiro no Daimou' much?"... That said, assuming I ever do form a successful band, I'll definitely write a couple of songs like this for a joke or two. "U & I": Definitely a lot catchier than Mio's rendition of "Fude Pen, Boru Pen", which in itself was at one point on constant repeat on my computer's media player.
