Thankfully I have already acquired a PS3 a long time ago, so the first step will not be a PROBLEM. Only importing it will be, but honestly the price of the game will without a doubt be a problem for ME. Even I have a budget to FOLLOW.

I personally like the new sprites because they're more anatomically accurate. I will admit that they didn't do justice when they portray the hilarious troll faces. I want to see how they handle Kinzo's desire face.

My sister actully has a PS3. I might still import the game (if possible) and just borrow it, if possible. I HAVE to play that version. I already know the story pretty well, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Money is not a problem for me.

The animation effects are much improved, but that's no doubt due to the better resolution and what I'm assuming will be a custom VN engine that permits flashier animations. The addition of CGs will help. Also, that Beato vs. Virgilia one confirms she does in fact have hands (the anime confirms it too, I mean, but you'd be hard-pressed to notice in-game).

Also, maybe it's me, but it seems like each Stake only has one posture...

And now that you guys mention it, wow, Gohda's head really is tiny.

I'll make sure to join those forums and add my support to both of them in a bit. I mean, the odds of either bringing it over are slim to none, especially with Sony giving people hard times over stuff like Sakura Wars (they rejected a PSP Sakura Wars game because it was "more of a text novel than a game"). But, despite the unlikeliness of it all, I feel obligated to try and get them to at least consider it.

I mean, if we show them the fanbase is big enough then... maybe.

I'm guessing we have a better shot with NISA, huh?

16 pages now, and still growing! I'm hoping that the rest of Umineko's Western fanbase will unite under this thread and support our efforts. Animesuki probably holds most of Umineko's most devoted fans, so I hope to see you all over there very soon! :3

On the topic of the actual game, I must say it looks pretty awesome. I don't really care for the super-buff goat guys, though. They used to be so cute. >w>

As a dub fan, I think this would be awesome.

However, it should also have the option to switch to the Japanese track as well. Can't have enough Ohara as Beatrice

If NISA chooses to do it, then definitely. They always keep the Japanese language as an option.
