20mm cannon or 13mm gatling is NOT that farfetched, just that it's the I.S. equivalent of heavy support weapon.

If you want reasonable, use my scale, which is based on Raphael's weapon loadout. Find a weapon, and have it's caliber raised to 175%. For example, a 17.5mm Pistol is the I.S. equivalent of 10mm Auto for human infantry. That's all I can said.

@zero: minimizing barrel length I think it should work though. The vierlings can be fired even while in mid motion mostly due to the specialized tuning of the Proto schwarzer but that's only while the movement is linear. I also thought that maybe rear support arms would be used to handle the cannon weight and recoil. Also, it looks cool

I actually wanted to go 18mm for the Orochi and 15mm for the Brionac but I was skeptical since they both sport multiple barrels.

“-Tally seven bogeys, confirmed, twelve o’clock. Ghost One to Nest, advise.-”

The three F-15s jets cruise over the Chiba Prefecture towards a formation of seven consisting of Praxidike’s Jabber and Strike Jabber drones that are actively scanning the city of Chiba below.

“-Nest to Ghost Flight, confirm seven bogeys approaching Chiba. Requesting visuals of the bogeys.-”

“-Ghost Three to Nest, transmitting long-range visuals.-”

“-Ghost Two to boss, bogeys are flying below minimal altitude regulations, permission to holler.-”

“-Hold formation, Two. Ghost lead will initiate.-”

The leading jet slowly advances ahead while the pilot glues his sights on the drone formation.

“-Attention unknown units. You are entering restricted airspace, state your intentions.-”

The drones resume their course, maintaining low flight altitude as the fighters approach them.

“-No budge, boss.-”

“-Unknown units, assume heading two-zero-eight. We will escort you to JSDF Shizouka airbase.-”

Despite the apparent instruction to divert from their current course, the drones stubbornly refuses to change their flight path. The jets pass over the formation and swerves around, bringing themselves directly behind the drones.

“-They’re not moving away, lead. Permission to engage.-”

“-Unknown units, divert from your present course and assume heading two-zero-eight now. If you do not comply, we will use deadly force.-”

The leading jet’s pilot narrow his eyes while the drones still remain on their current flight path, outright ignoring the pilot’s warning.

“-Ghost Flight, snare unknown units, force them away.-”

“-Two, copy.-”

“-Ghost Three, roger.-”

The pilots arm their weaponry and begin to lock their targeting reticules onto the drone formation. They achieve successful lock-ons on their respective target with tones beeping to prompt them to fire and their reticules blinking red with the word “LOCKED” flashing next to it.

The Jabbers immediately turn around in response to the apparent threat and point their beam guns at the jet formation.

“-Scatter!-”

In a snap, the Eagle jets break formation as the Jabbers open fire, barreling away from the particle beams.

“-Ghost One to Nest, bogeys opened fire! I repeat, Ghost Flight is taking fire!-”

“-Nest to Ghost Flight, confirmed bogeys are hostile. You have permission to engage.-”

@ Stratos - Unprovoked entrances always end in smoke either way.

@ Demi - Don't add too many OC's. The fandom goes apeshit whenever there are too many OC's, and I tend to add them now only when really needed.

So...is there a point to the Nagisako side stories? Don't get me wrong, I'm all about fleshing out story (I do it in Synchronicity a lot), but how is it related to the Cake Eater Older Harem romance?

I'm planning the normal haunts for the cast to be:
-the Orimura house
-Soratami Highschool(Ichika and Dan and normal friends' school)
-IS research center(Chifuyu and co. workplace)

Just wanted a cafe in there somehow. Or just any local actually.

Then you might wanna be careful. Some readers seem to go apeshit when they see something that's not that important being expounded upon. Happened in Frankenstein/The Golem of Prometheus too.

Not realluy. None of them seem to mind when you make ICHIKA OOC or overtly badass, mostly because he's such a ding dong in canon that nobody cares. Notice that the most popular fics - Soaring of the Dokugan Ryu, Resolve, and White Knight - make him almost completely OOC. THe only problem people seem to have is the tendency of author's to make an OC and then have the upstage the CC's in just about every damn thing bar none. Just look at most OC stories and you'll see its true.
