I also don't get why the west coast shows little in the way of votes; it seems like there's tons of us into anime from San Diego into British Columbia. I wonder if once the regular season gets underway whether there'll be an uptick in all major (and minor) locales. I do expect more voters to come on board once it's underway

Only, I'm sure it's supposed to be "country's capital."

*Comes back from the depths of hell to check the news*
So Kallen won the last round hm. She's been lurking and waiting for a chance since day 1, so I guess it isn't completely unexpected. The most unfortunate thing though, is that insider news told me I'd missed an epic outburst during round 8 results in the IRC channel. Quote:
EDIT: I've seen alot of people watch anime here in the west coast too. Glad the country capital thing cleared it up for me.

People like to be recognized for their participation?
In other news... Whoa! Talking about Yurie the other day... I just finished episode 4 of Sora o Kakeru Shoujo. Yurie's VA, MAKO, does Akiha, the lead in SoraKake. A very different type of character in a very different type of setting. Akiha is win! MAKO is doing a fantastic job with her. Pink hair power! And Honoka is packing some pretty heavy moe fire power as well. This is my kind of mecha anime. Top of the list at 2chan for popularity, so I expect some of these girls to be getting attention in the coming year. Especially if the series keeps the momentum it has. I'm loving it. Jun Fukuyama's performance as the emo AI, Leopard, is so good it almost has me forgetting how much I can't stand Lelouch.

Will people still remember of this show on next year nominations (that depends on how many episodes it have) enought to vote for it's characters? Last edited by chaosprophet; 2009-02-15 at 13:29. |

I don't know... it just made a really good impression on me (CG integration of the space scenes is delicious eye candy) . It's a hell of a lot more interesting and amusing than Toaru Majutsu no Index was at 4 episodes... or 8... or 12... I trudged my way through to episode 14 of Index (for Mikoto's arc), and haven't had enough interest to watch anymore... yet. Fortunately Toradora! is still going strong. And, surprisingly, Ami is slowly winning me over. I absolutely hated her in the beginning, so I think that says a lot about her development. I've watched the first 3 episodes of MUNTO and, while I liked it quite a bit, SoraKake has me far more eager for the next epiosde than MUNTO does. But that's probably not a fair comparison... different types of shows. Bleh... random ramblings... For an ISML related matter... I see some profile images have changed. I'm still being credited for 4 of them that are no longer mine. -Horo -Sayuri Kurata -Ayu Tsukimiya -Mai Kawasumi And... Haruhi? I have no images of Haruhi in my profile image folder. I don't think I ever submitted one of her.

I have better than what's there. Since I doubt any of you are Geass fans, you just grab the first picture you find of them (Gathered from the quality of Anya's small picture) no matter the quality.
