How did Konohamaru know the headband was Mitsuki's? It's not like his name is written on it. Mitsuki is in fact wearing his headband in the preview for next week's ep.

I'm also surprised he didn't know his identity. You'd think they would have kept the guy in charge of him in the loop. He could have figured it out himself too. A kid from the sound village with pale skin who can extend his arms and uses snakes... should have rung some bells.

Specially since Shino knew about it. So the academy teacher is more important than the jounin instructor? I guess for Naruto it's still Iruka > Kakashi.

^Orochimaru killed his grandfather and knowing who Mitsuki's parent was would have created a bias against Mitsuki in Konohamaru even if he didn't mean it.

Good episode for Boruto. I actually popped when Aoda showed up and I like the little banter between him and Boruto.

Also, the new opening is great, probably the best of the four.

Yep, the OP. I thought it was something else on Boruto's face before they zoomed out though

I find it funny that Aoda recognized Sarada faster than her own dad did. Yes, I know it's probably because she smells like him.

That's what I'm thinking too. Besides, Mitsuki is already associated with snakes, it'd be weird to have two snake users in the same team.

Since Konohamaru already has the toad contract, I keep hoping that Boruto will get Sasuke's hawk contract instead.

Finally got back to the series. I have been watching too many Kamen Rider series so I have not been present here. Still, remember that even Kakashi said that Boruto had Jonin potential before graduating while Mitsuki even knows Sage Arts. Kakashi also turned into a jonin at the same age as Boruto has btw.

About Garaga, maybe the contract is temporary? Still, I think the tv version is the more canon than the manga due to all the way the new characters have been handled as well as the fact that Kodachi has been behind some episodes.

This took me by surprise. Mitsuki actually befriended Sekiei who decided to keep Mitsuki's agenda as a secret. Also, considering Kurotsuchi is facing quite a big enemy this arc might become quite large.

I give the Boruto anime props for how it has been able to sidestep the problem shounen sequels have of previous protagonist being too powerful for any early threat to have any weight.

Nue arc: Nue absorbs chakra and they can't risk it absorbing Naruto's.
Hidden Mist arc: The kids are in another country away from Naruto's jurisdiction.
Mitsuki arc: Naruto can't waltz into Earth Country without risking starting another war.

I skipped the Byakuya gang arc, so I don't know who they handled there.

As it turns out, not only are Uzumaki masters at talk-no-jutsu, but they are also immune to it be use on them as well.

Man, that was quite an episode. The fight against the Fabrications sure seem difficult due to how even on a 3 member team had problem with one so I'm sure about the others. Wonder when we'll see Mitsuki again.

That was a cool fight, but this arc is really overstaying its welcome. The pace seems to be increasing though, so that's good.
