Since I only really consider NES old school I'm going to say Bionic Commando. The fact that it didn't end up on Virtual Console or XBox Live Arcade still irks me to this day.

I've just started to play SNES and GBA games again!

My SNES Favs:
1. Earthbound (aka: Mother 2)
2. Legend of Zelda: A link to the past!
3. Harvest Moon
