Besides, I think that suicide is a more touchier topic in Japan than in R1. R1 worries more about sex and lolicon stuff imo.

I just watched episode 09 and I have to thank a.f.k. for the great work. This episode was a hell to translate (there was much more text than any other episode so far). Well, this episode again dealt with more social issues within the no so ordinary dark comedy of this show.

This episode was good overall, especially the issues they were poking fun at. As a side note, it seems that self-depreciation has become its new tool to make humor, just notice how many times they were making fun at themselves.

Episode 9 was fun, but the list of "Seven Mistakes in Life" got the biggest laugh out of me.

I actually spent the whole time thinking the series was over...after seven episodes. I wasn't seeing any updates or anything, so I'm assuming it's ongoing in Japan still? Are there planned numbers of episodes or is it done as the series progresses? (Is the name of abusive cell phone girl out yet by the way? I never caught her name and just know her by the character she has...) XD

The first series has finished in Japan (12 episodes) - the subs are still being done, and they are up to episode 9 (thanks AFK!). I would say Sensei is a particularly tough and time consuming anime to sub and translate.

There is a second season of the anime starting early next year, although I don't know how many episodes that will be (someone else might).

And the name of the cell phone girl is Otonashi Meru .

Like i said in one of my earlier posts, it's such a shame we don't have more tracks like the first few on the soundtrack. But don't forget --- we have second season to ask for that.

Episode 9 was excellent. It's funny how he blames his students for making the mistake of having him as a teacher. It's not very surprising since he also considers his birth a mistake of his own, though.

A.f.k sure didn't skimp on the subbing either, those walls of text were neatly translated for our viewing pleasure. Kudos all around.

I loved this episode! It definitely makes up for some of the earlier weaker ones.

The cover for character song is out. However, the CD itself will only be released on November 27.

It looks... normal. I prefer the covers for both the ED and the soundtrack.

I love its so colourful and then the characters are greyish

There’s no doubt (they even apologized for using the wrong plate during the episode). - You are allowed to belittle everybody in the class except Maria. Coming to this country was a good choice - After killing somebody, the mistake you did becomes correct. Sure - Sensei’s son shows up in this episode, I mean, his nephew. Cheating on those two might bring unfortunate results - Don’t say profound things on a cheap anime - How would you prove you are the real one? * A normal answer from Hitou-san * A private secret from Kitsu-san. * A birthmark under her boobs. We are all perverts inside. * Maria MUST be the real one, she is the only one who can recite perfectly her personal information. - who is the real sensei? this is our Mr. Despair - we are adding one more fetish to the show: hair fetish. - Some fetishes might result into a mental shock for life. This episode was good overall, especially the issues they were poking fun at.
