Does he normally release a LN a month or is that just something that happened this time? If he does it all the time I don't think we need to worry but if he's never done it before then maybe we will have to wait until October.

Rereading New Testament Volume 1 again... and I apparently just noticed that in one of the illustration, you'd see the cover of the first volume of Heavy Object.

So since Kakine is very likely going to be coming back (which is awesome cause he was my favorite villain) what do you guys think are his chances of redemption? I think it's really likely since most villains (well a lot, I'm don't have the specific numbers) get redeemed in this series. We don't know what he was trying to negotiate with Aliester for so it could have something to do with that.

Zero. All he has right now is his brain. And besides, Kakine is already 100% dead — take note that you can't call Kakine's brain Kakine.

More than anything because he only had a short lived appearance. That naturally ask people to ask for more.

There is also the fact that he supposedly is Yuriko's rival (awakening and stuff?), but we know how that ended up.

Also, remember there is no absolute on Index so I guess Kakine got twisted at some point om his life.

Not everyone can be Touma or "no kill" Mikoto. It's refreshing that Accelerator doesn't pull his punches and if you screw with him he'll make you regret it til your last breath.

Personally, I find Measure Heart more appealing.

Kakine is interesting enough though, especially now that he might get a dark matter body... Potentially transforming into whoever/whatever he wanted + unusual toughness + easy regeneration... He could become a near immortal shapechanger. Added to the power he already had he would be quite a menace... although he would probably still get easily curbstomped by Accelerator in a direct fight.

Come to think about it, Accelerator haven't killed anybody onscript since he 'second Awakening' (Yes I made that up on the spot, deal with it)- Heck he hasn't gone all batshit insane even once.

Kakine's return opens up a whole new possibility, it could really go either way- Even Mugino who killed her own teammate, and made her the number one victim of cheap-puns for life, got her redemption. Kakine only beat up Uiharu and stabbed Yomikawa- no real crime there.

I don't think he's done anything really wrong, he was a really nice guy ; he even (somehow) apologized to Uiharu before dislocating her shoulder and attempting to burst her skull, and it's was Jersey-nee-san's fault for interrupting Accelerator, you can say it was pure collateral damage. :trollface:
Also if he were to come back, I'd prefer he stays a villain ... the series really lacks super-cool male antagonist right now (most were either reformed, dead or androgynous) >.>
