So we will finally get to know something about the main character? I almost thought Falcom forgot about him since they are busy inventing new ways to make him suffer unreasonably. As if the chains weren't ominous enough.........-_-. Hopefully we will get a PV as well.

Also despite Cedric trying to look cool, he has a very punch-able face. Hopefully he get more than one punch because he deserves a royal beat down alongside some other people (i am looking at the fat guy and Dad of the Year No 2 here).

Rean is one of the greatest enigmas of Sen IV despite being the main character, so I guess it made sense to save him for last.

I just really, really hope that the delay on the PV/trailer doesn't mean they are having technical problems a la Sen I. Seeing how well Sen III ended I expected if anything the development would have been smoother.

There isn't any delay with a PV.
We got a very early one for Sen III, but that PV was meant for to be played in stores and it was early in the year due to the May release for Ys VIII, and they decided to use that release to promote Sen III. Sen 1 also had a early one, but that was more a tech demo thrown together for Sony when Sony tried some new marketing strategy.
The store PV usually arrives around July, and the main big PV is in late July or August.
The TVCM should come in late July.

So, one should worry about lack of footage if we don't see any before august.

Maybe Cassius would be the one to help Rean master the 7th Form "Void"? I mean, from what I remember, Cassius specialized in that form before giving up the blade, right?

Though, kinda weird that Crow is revealed among what is supposed to be Osbourne's group - Rean was implied to become part of it, abeit unwillingly after Sen 3.

If I wanted to be overly dramatic and exaggerating, I'd probably say: Dear Falcom, please make your next Kiseki game with an MC whom you don't start to hate in the middle just to drag him through as much shit as possible.

But as I'm not, one "smiley" explains my sentiment perfectly:

I mean, being Rean is suffering, but in a way that's why I love him.

And yeah the Cassius hype is through the roof. I though Cassius specialized in the 'spiral' form though, so more than teaching Rean (who Kafai promised to teach him the last secrets when he returns anyway) he will probably just try to help him.

In the gaiden at the end of CSII Rean talks about Arios like he knew him, so there's a chance that he might have met Cassius too through their master.

Well if your father is a Divergent being and later a mastermind who can troll Ouroborous, you are born in Hamel, your friend is a troublemaker and a terrorist, you yourself have half-demonic unknown powers that nobody explains to you and the writers are more biased towards their previous characters then yes you or in this case Rean has a crappy life which isn't his fault in any way.
