I get your point in that we can't 'blame' the business which is always going to be an essentially faceless entity looking for the most profits. At the same time, though, the things they do, especially the pharmaceutical companies in the US, are just horrifying. Outrage is justified even if the culprit is ambiguous.
As for libido, if someone isn't happy with their libido there are plenty of ways to modify/increase libido naturally including herbs like tribulus or increasing zinc intake. |

That's not sensibilities I just don't consider it good to assume that kind of things about people you don't know. I was commenting the article, not making comment about myself. And I don't know what I posted that could make people assume that I masturbate.
I never masturbated and don't plan to start. |

The irony in this is that I've had more women friends admit to masturbating openly whereas my guy friends tend to go roundabout or deny it flatout like I was insulting them.
And yes neither have I. Statistics show as a man I'm in the minority in this. Am I supposed to feel emasculated?

It can't be compared with what most men do. The topic was actually discussed a bit in a women french magazine after the national sexuality of the french study that was released in 2008. Last edited by Narona; 2010-02-25 at 10:07. |

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with never masturbating; it's just an aspect of yourself that you can choose to explore or not. If you ever plan to engage in sexual activities with someone, though, it helps if you know exactly how you like to be touched, and how big of something you can fit inside. Otherwise, your partner might just guess at what you want, and thus you won't get as much pleasure out of it, and might cause you some pain.
And yes, guys are generally much hornier than women, in general. Although a woman who is really into sex, can be much hornier individually than a man, especially if they like multiple orgasms in a row, heh. |

But in this light, if it's just by yourself, you do keep your virginity. It's just exploring an aspect of yourself, like I said, and also to prepare a body for sex. Part of the pain for a woman is the hymen, but not every female has one, and most these days have it broken for other reasons dealing with physical activity. The other source of pain is being stretched for the first time, if your male lover is bigger than you are. Using an object like a dildo for awhile in advance, can get you used to the feeling, as well as help you practice with your vagina muscles and even help slowly stretch you a bit bigger, so that your first time isn't as painful. As a guy, I want my partner to be able to enjoy herself; most of my pleasure comes from knowing she likes it just as much. If it's just for me, it loses quite a bit of the meaning. And of course, I don't like causing her pain. Lastly, for everyone, the size of a guy really isn't that important. I know there is a subconscious focus on "bigger is better" but it really comes down to how well you fit your lover. A lot of women do prefer smaller, because it fits better. Too big, even if you can fit the width, you'll find it bumping the cervix and in most women, that's a bit painful, too. |

In some cultures, and in the past, a hymen was considered a girl's virginity, and if she didn't bleed on her first time, she was considered bad goods because she obviously had sex before marriage. Back when women had less rights and were treated more as objects to be married off, this caused issues, although women in those days were generally less physically active so odds were better theirs remained intact. Like RadientBeam said, though, a lot of physical activity can break it: Riding, high kicks (martial arts and cheerleading), cartwheels, and even some jumps (like in anime when you see school kids jumping that box in PE class).
