Which is very difficult. Still, here are some scrapes that may help you look into things.

AS you can see from this article : http://english.hani.co.kr/arti/engli...al/525845.html there isn't much to hope for any change of direction from Saenuri Party. Why should they when they won? Winning the presidential election will likely embolden them further to push for even more agendas they supported before. When you combine this with your statement of "in a highly ideological society like Korea, which has always had strict readings of religion and politics," I don't see much hope for compromises nor restoring scientific integrity and correcting wrong infor regarding history to Korean text books . Just in....
Shingo Minamino, music producer for Nitro+ music including work on Steins;Gate, was stabbed to death in Osaka. In broad daylight, as concert he was attending as staff was taking place, Minamino was stabbed repeatedly by a man with a knife on a road nearby. The suspect, who admitted to the crime, was a man who was released from jail in Tochigi prefecture just last month, and simply stated he wanted to stab someone, anyone. Just sheer bad luck... hate seeing life of someone talented just taken away by unreasonable cruelty.

Furthermore, almost everything you label as being under the influence of Korean Christians are actually just under an overall conservative movement, which cuts through mere religion and is based on social conservatism. You're mixing up only a part of the whole as being the whole. Quote:

I also have to question Tochigi prefecture prison's phychiatric evaluaion.
The man was clearly deranged, and was not ready to be let go from the prison.... Mr Minamino, and a random passing by elderly woman were stabbed to death. A witness reports the incident: He saw Mr Minamino pinned down on the road, at first he thought the suspect was punching him, and started to approach them. Then he saw that the suspect was stabbing Mr Minamino with a knife, and as the suspect got up and started walking towards the witness with a bloody knife in his hand, the witness ran. As he ran, he saw the elderly woman on a bicycle coming near them, but before he could tell her to run, the suspect grabbed the woman and repeatedly stabbed her too... Then the suspect walked back to Mr Minamino, who was crying out for help, and resumed stabbing. This all happened in broad daylight, around lunch time, with multiple witness on the road. Insane... In an unrelated news, I dunno if it's been brought up here yet, but another officer of the Aum cult terrorist attack 17 years ago has been caught. Second one this year, I think there's only one left still on the run. http://news.bostonherald.com/news/in...osition=recent She..... looks completely different than she did back then, almost completely unrecognizable. Pictures of of the last remaining suspect has been released, taken at a bank, and he looks completely different too. http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/dqnplus/i...7/57f402aa.jpg Right is what he looked like at the time of the attack, left is current. No wonder these guys got away for 17 long years, while living in broad daylight in Japan, while their faces were on wanted pictures all over the nation....

A man that once worked as a guard at a prision told me once that one inmate said that once he became free he would do anything to get into prision again. Seems this guy fits the description, he is not insane and has completed his prision term so authorities could not retain him any longer, he will probably will get life on prision for this, which was his plan all along.

Governor of Osaka is getting some heat, he publically stated "Murderer. If you want to die so badly, why not go kill yourself. Don't involve others." to the killer's intenions.
A lot of people are flaming him for being inappropriate and insensitive, but to hell with em. I agree with the man.

The governor, Gov. Matsui of Osaka prefecture. As big a difference as Mayor of Dallas and Governor of Texas. EDIT: oops, mistake. The suspect was released from jail in Niigata, not Tochigi. Tochigi is where the man was from originally. Sounds like he's been around. EDIT2: And... apparently he was a leader of a biker gang in Tochigi in his youth.
