This is what I use
1. I use translation aggregator.
2. Almost exactly their names. I use JParser(attached to TA) and since I know basic japanese, translated names sometimes would come out as brightness or water drop(since it uses kanji and not katakana) so I can just hover over the kanji and read the hiragana instead(brightness = Houki and water drop = Shizuku)
Its nice to know hiragana and katakana as well as how to read it. It can be easily memorized and would help if your reading using machine translations.

So I read the summaries of the first 24 chapters(thanks to the person who made them).
The story seems cool and all but this is why I hate partners. In order for the author to make Yu useful he gives the main character broken stats all around yet he just won't let him have magic aptitutes, not even one. Now I am pretty sure the story will keep going in the direction where he is creating modern weaponry to fight while Yu is the one who actually gets all the cool power. A world where magic exists and the author is fighting with regular weapons regardless of their power..I don't know why the author thought this would be cooler because it isn't.

I think it's actually interesting this way. Magic is a common enough trope in these fantasy stories so it wouldn't be any fun for the main character to just spam that. Isn't it cooler to see modern weaponry against all these high and mighty monsters and magicians? Besides, Hajime's more powerful weaponry wouldn't be possible without his magic to produce electricity.

Common doesn't make it bad, more importantly if you're gonna make something original make it better at least. magic has cool effects and abilities. Modern weaponry can be used by practically anybody, it just means he's a very good craftsmen(you might say using them requires the lightning clad but regular fighters could use normal lightning magic or whatever to power them). Modern magics just aren't as cool nor as versatile, just this one has more range, this one has stronger caliber. The author should've at least made him a magic marksman who uses mana bullet/elemental bullets. I don't mind the theme of guns, my problem is modern weaponry. He has all these amazing stats yet he's practically only using half of them.
For those who are more up to date with the series, he's still just relying on his guns right ? No magic-like offensive capabilities ?
Also is there any other LN like this with OP mc with stats and stuff but who actually has magic ?

I'm sure he'll get to magic bullets later. Hajime's stats augment his other attack skills like his Grand Kick and stuff.

Just because he doesn't have conventional magic doesn't mean he relies totally on modern weaponry. He has a bunch of special/unique magics and his transmuting. Plus, he is strong enough to punch a dragon and expect it to hurt. That's badass.

Honestly, I've never once felt he needed magic aptitude.
