I wasn't trying to rush him or anything, just answering a question. I've already read it, so although I like seeing a better translation(of sorts) its not a big deal to me personally. I read his version, but its only for the little tidbits I might have missed or the machine translations garbled.

I really can't wait for whenever the next classmate side chapter is where Kaori and the rest learn Hajime is alive. I really wonder what Kaori's reaction will be. Will she try to sneak off to go meet up with him, will she freak out when she finds out about his adventuring party that is all girls.

ok maybe I'll try machine translations after all. I'd like to wait for Dreg00's, but it is not even sure if he will continue at all.
So I ask: 1. What is the best machine tranlation tool for this? 2. What are their names usually translated as?

1. I use translation aggregator. 2. Almost exactly their names. I use JParser(attached to TA) and since I know basic japanese, translated names sometimes would come out as brightness or water drop(since it uses kanji and not katakana) so I can just hover over the kanji and read the hiragana instead(brightness = Houki and water drop = Shizuku) Its nice to know hiragana and katakana as well as how to read it. It can be easily memorized and would help if your reading using machine translations. |

I think it's actually interesting this way. Magic is a common enough trope in these fantasy stories so it wouldn't be any fun for the main character to just spam that. Isn't it cooler to see modern weaponry against all these high and mighty monsters and magicians? Besides, Hajime's more powerful weaponry wouldn't be possible without his magic to produce electricity.

Just because he doesn't have conventional magic doesn't mean he relies totally on modern weaponry. He has a bunch of special/unique magics and his transmuting. Plus, he is strong enough to punch a dragon and expect it to hurt. That's badass.
Honestly, I've never once felt he needed magic aptitude. |
