Man, sort of didn't expect them to wipe out the universe immediately D0=. I thought the Zenos would at least let them see the conclusion of the battle and it is probably more interesting seeing the combatants "oooh" and "aaahhh" versus hearing Beerus complaining and Champa encouraging defeat, if this episode's U9 Kaioshin is anything to go by =01; I see that getting old, fast.

Although it still seems like we're a ways off from being able to fight Angels as main villains. |

Well RIP Universe 9. Honestly, I'm glad they're gone. They have some of the most egoistic fighters in the entire tournament and doesn't shown any respect to their opponents.
By the PV, I guess we'll see a lot of action from Krillin next time?

Goodbye universe 9, though considering how the brothers called it a garbage heap, it seems like nothing of value was lost.
The universe 9 angel was pretty cold. He actually seemed happy about his universe being eliminated.

So assuming the angels want these universes destroyed for some reason, perhaps wishing them back would foil their plans. That sounds like it could give at least some of the angels enough motivation to turn them into the new main antagonists. But now I'm really reaching. Last edited by sayde; 2017-07-09 at 01:05. |

Some things don't add up.
Why handicap the fighters by putting a "No Kill" rule and when they fall out of the ring they are simply transported to the bench when "Death" is the penalty for failure? Maybe the erasure was just a made up thing to get the other Gods off their butts and to take it seriously in the aftermath? Or maybe at the end of the it all universes who lost will get merged into the "winning" universe? I mean combining all universes into one would significantly expand the potential of fights and conflicts in the Dragon Ball universe. And last I check don't Angels go "dormant" until a new God of Destruction is activated? Hence why Whis and the other angels went KIA when Zamasu was going on his killing spree. Neither Sidra nor Roh died this time though, as they were simply erased. I feel like a technicality was circumvented as a result though...

To be honest I was cheering for universe 9 in chapter 97, they were doing a good job and fighting well but it seems that looking for the universe 7 just for revenge was a bad move, and more that they really erase the universe just like that + that angel creepy laugh, this mean serious business.
I feel bad for bunny girl lol. |

The smile of Universe 9's angel after it was wiped out was pretty ominous. Then again, that particular angel never struck me as a good guy. We'll have to see how the other angels react to their Universe's erasure. If they all seem happy, then they're definitely plotting something behind the scenes.
