I thought the silence of that scene actually worked pretty well, thank you very much.
They did??!! I'm starting to think they're doing these changes for the sake of being different for the blu-ray. Going back to "improve" drawings and animation. Most of which I found nothing wrong with. I think people will have to edit the tv and blu-ray versions to their own liking.

You can judge for yourself, here is the difference for episode 11. The best bit is that they changed Walpurgis's voice to match what it sounded like in episode 12~

^ They also added very nice explosions to the Surface to Air missles bit, and animated it even smoother, and it looks great.

Well, as always: the DVD/BluRay disk alway better quality than television, even some uncut moments in it.

And am I the only one here who's surprised that a Japanese figurine company is actually advertising their products in English? I didn't think they would even consider foreigners as a market.

Homura-chan looking elegant as always.
I hope her figurine by GSC would be for sale to people outside of Japan.

I don't see why not. After all, many of us buy these all the time.

Heck, it's already up for preorder on your favorite import site.

And I'm very tempted to do so, but I already got two figurines preordered as it is and cash flow is a bit of an issue right now. Plus, I'm kinda waiting for a nice Kyouko figurine, assuming we'll ever see one.
