I want to try Maokai really badly. All of those CC and those saplings seem too good pass out on. At the very least, running him as a utility off-tank would be really fun.

More like a boost...sure, we lost that sweet +24 IP per game, but getting IP based on how long a game lasts really balances things out. This way less surrendering, more tough defence! Also can't wait to try out AI co-op, should be a lot less flamy than 5v5 and a lot easier too

Bought the bundle for Maokai because he looks fun (saplings weeee).
Haven't thought of a proper build for him yet. My previous game items in order are.

1) sapphire + 2 pots
2) boots
3) catalyst -> RoA
4) merc threads.
5) Aegis
6) Sunfire

Skill priority is E < W < R < Q. Most of the players agree that saplings are necessary for farming and lvl 4 sapling (no AP bonus) can wipe out the range minions in 1 go (impact and sap explosion).

To me, he definitely is not a pure tank. Support Tank fits him the most. And his AP ratio is decent.

Funny, my match history page are full of smileys.

Sure he's not a pure tank , off-tank AP fits him better with his abilities. Yeah , i think RoA for him is good.

The new Ryze is really good as a damage per second caster. They changed his burst. He might be new fotm

Try on Leaguecraft , there are plenty of customs skins.

Tried, not there. The only TH skin I have is the Annie->Cirno/Alice Skin. That Marisa skin is quality, don't know if maker released it.

So got Maokai. His emotes are funnies ^^ Cool Champs. I didn't tried Full AP yet but his abilities' ratio are 0.4-0.8 so i think Off-tank AP is better.

New Ryze is no more powerfull. It plays with his Q cuz for the short CD and bigger range. Saw a Ryze vs Annie , he fed her a lot... Well , don't play him like you usually do.

No new bots yet... Nice new interface.

Sooo...anyone else lagging at 200+ latency? Things went to hell at noon today, been like that ever since for all the people that I've played with. Luckily I tried out ranked in the morning when it was still fine

Yeah been like that since Saturday night. Never got more than 10m in queue though...and Co-op is still unavailable, Riot's such a tease! At least we got another IP boost~

Still got no team...had a few good matches, but my former team has 100+ wins over me now, so I just try to play as well as I can so that nobody complains...much :P

EDIT:Apparently night games are a no-no, placed 561 in queue with 48 minutes in wait...WTF!

OMG! 18:00. Queue waiting 20m... nothing... queue position seems like the same for ages... relogin again... get to 0 and it doesn't login at all. WTF. Relogin. Managed to get inside but game creation screwed then ended up in in infinite queue for match making. 2H wasted for nothing.

At least I bought today Kata but damn I really sux with her... I dunno how some ppl can actually kill with her ult at lvl 6. At least my last game of tonight I played a 8/0/18 ashe game. Gotta love arrow sniping from half the map. Seriously I am only good with this char.

^ Kat's very durable despite her looks; Shunpo increases your def long enough to channel Death Lotus, but her biggest asset is her movement speed, a stunning base 325(!), easily 340+ with masteries and runes. For comparison, Fiddles has an MS of 300.

You gotta play a lot of matches to get used to characters...so far I've only mastered Zilean and Urgot, and although I'm a fair Galio/Singed/Swain player, I'm still learning. Try custom games for item and skill builds, play around with her and then get some 5v5 experience, since team fights are the turning point of every match.

P.S: What's your IGN, timezone and usual playing hours? I wanna train too but most custom games are 3x mid...
