It appears that I was right on the money about Lam-chan. She appears to be from the demon world and initially was like Fino. You know, like being prone to comparing mundane things and food to something humans would consider squicky. She seemed to be familiar with magic overload, and apparently taking a deep breath to settle themselves was a simple, yet effective trick to preventing it.

Nonetheless it is very refreshing to see Fino being competent for once, although it ended up for naught because Leon =/= Lawson.

Nova-chan's quite the airhead it seems. She didn't quite realise the gravity of her words when she suggested that Raul could cop a feel if he wanted. So the reason why Raul rarely talked with her is because he was pretty much all about work, and regarding work, you can only have so much to talk about. Also, it's kind of funny that Nova's surname is Luminous. Reverse it and you get a phrase going.

Fino's a surprisingly good cook too. When she mixed things like sauce and coffee into the oden, I was half-expecting it to look horrible and taste bad. It looked terrible but tasted good instead!

Now that's convenience (when it isn't broken), you can use it anywhere, even in the middle of the forest.

Except because of that, they can't use appliances nor technology that uses a lot of power. (Example: Cars and Trains)

The carts seem pretty much stand in for cars with the added bonus that they almost drive them selves and since some are pulled by floating seahorses there is likely still magic involved.

Would not count out train like masstransport yet as it seems a normal human can charge a houses power in a few seconds.

Also I think Lam is a vampire not a demon the relative know as the Skewer in refence to Vlad the impaler and she has noticeable fanges.

Willing to bet Lore isn't human either thinking elf maybe

Spoiler for Episode 5:

The fifth episode marks another appearance of Airi Altinet as her own company that rivals Raul's Leon store is about to be opened with a ceremony. Hilarity ensues involving them. If the girls at Leon are wearing pseudo-school uniforms, the female mates at Amada are wearing skimpy bunny suits, which makes up for a rather more outrageous appearance even though the crowd doesn't mind as the males are just lusting for sexy attention. Nice to see Sphere making for another anime appearance after Natsuiro Kiseki, at least their counterparts here really resembles their true faces. The arc will likely continues from there.

For some reason even though almost every scene is a fanservice shot + double entendre, (the white sticky thing all over fino after turning off the rogue appliance for example) it is not boring to watch, and whereas most other series like this makes me cringe and makes me skip certain scenes (the first few mins of IS2 ep03 comes to mind), this one is surprisingly tolerable, entertaining even.

as for lam-san, her focus on always saying her full name pretty much gave away where she came from, given that nobody ever talks that way.

I didn't expect Sphere to show up in the series. That was a nice cameo.

The episode made for a pleasant watch. It was entertaining to see Fino playing Raul's girlfriend. She had no idea what her girlfriend is supposed to be but she played the part very well nonetheless. She was adorable as usual. Even after five episodes, my heart still melts every time she says "ore-sama".

I figured the episode would end with Raul and Airi meeting in the store. This sure is embarrassing for Airi. She's doing exactly what she chewed him for, and in a bunny suit to boot.

This is the (Y)amada store in Mihara which I visited on a whim when I was in Japan earlier this year. It was actually more like Leon inside (i.e. pretty much deserted, selling a range of home goods and the like to rather elderly customers). The Amada store in the anime is more like Bic Camera or Yodabashi Camera, busy with lots of floorstaff and noise and a much younger clientele.

And really now, Airi. It was bad enough that you condemned him for his job and then got one that was even more demeaning, but at a place whose motto is "get every last gold out of the customer?" What sort of work is that for a hero?

another day on magical best buy store yet where the customers give 2nd manager wonder to do give fino suggest put swamp & man-eating plants for store even that no customer even old red shirt doing lawson store to "grab" lam?!

2nd manager had idea to have fino do model outfit to get customer til female manager reveal it's cause due to rival stores probs so call in everyone for eat meet to do about rival shop.

even fino suggest do a evil god sacrifce for magical best buy but safe option have raul & fino spy on rival store while not in golem outfit so go into spy rival store give same time airi is doing bunny girl work on rival store.

give place so crowded & etc fino want get free meet & oh lawson girls visit the place give lam kick the "gongs" of the rival store worker due full name mention while on magical best buy the upper management appear to do something cause soon place might close.

raul & fino seeing place give "hmm" then help old lady get to air con area give wonder lack of customer's helping & checking few of their items.

& observe their concert well raul & fino meet bunny girl airi.
