Wow, that was a great end to the arc... I'd say series (the fact all of the characters are shown made it seem like the very last episode too...), but it seems there is one last episode left, to focus on the truth of what happened in Tachibana's past. Wonder what, wonder what... (Not Mya, shame...)

Umeharaaaaaaaaa! You act like that, but you're going to Karaoke with only girls, aren't you! Harem! You traitor! (;_; )
And guooooooooh! What a great couple (at main two)! I'm jealous!
...Yeah, may everyone be happy on Christmas... ( -_-)
As if everyone were having such a great time as you two.........

Though one thing unfortunate about this arc was the fact everything about Ayatsuji's sister was skipped...
So... What was that all about anyways? You introduce the problem but don't ever solve or properly explain it?
So -1/10, for 9/10.

Wonderful, WONDERFUL powerful ending to the arc and the show. And incredibly satisfying.

Since they managed to cram a highly complex character study into 4 episodes with alot of minor details and clues to pick up, leading up to a logical and fairly dramatic resolution, I'll draw the third 10 in my life, as summary rating for the arc. An incredibly multifaceted and interesting character - Ayatsuji - was finally led to a happy conclusion.

Spoiler:

Definitely the top arc in my opinion.

Edit: After rewatching the key scenes a third time, I realized that I forgot to give Nazuka Kaori (the Tsukasa VA) some huge, huuuuuuge kudos for this episode. The gradual changes from Facade to the outburst and full release were simply awe-inspiring. What a great pick.

Looks like AIC was too busy Christmas shopping to remember Yukari's subplot

Boo at Hibiki for chickening out at the last second Haruka is 'lovely' as usual, but we've seen plenty of her already. It's time for Hibiki's 'NICE BODY' to shine

Drunk sensei is the best Shame that she doesn't get an arc.

Overall, this arc was easily the best of the lot since inner Ayatsuji was such a blast to watch, and it had the right mix of comedy and drama (whereas the previous arcs were light on the latter). It would have been perfect if not for that dangling plot thread, but it's still enjoyable nonetheless.

Maybe Miya will be the dark horse and trump all of them with her arc. Nishishishi~

I think it's safe to say that Tsukasa definitely had the most interesting arc. This series started off strong and grabbed everyone's attention with Haruka and did likewise with the ending.

If this series was a graph, it would be like a reverse bell curve.

I was surprised at the end. I thought the show would end at episode 24.

Well my favorite arc has come to a close. I still want to know about Tsukasa's sister though. I am a little disappointed that the anime didn't go into detail about it.

Ah, what a wonderful conclusion. Yes, they could have fleshed more of her story out, but Tsukasa ended well. This arc had more of a mature feel to it, and it was heartwarming the way it ended.

I really loved how Tsukasa gave Junichi that beating. He really deserved it.

Tsukasa Jr. was also really cute. She looks just like her mother.

Ah~ nice end, nice end.

Should I be expecting images of Tsukasa's 4-hit combo to hit the net soon?

Takahashi-sensei sobered up real quick. She went from stumbling down the hall to sober and giving Tsukasa & Junichi they're privacy in a matter of seconds.

Dammit makers ruined my perfect haruka ending by throwing in another awesome 10 year later epilogue for ayatsuji QQ

though they made up for it with sexy haruka service

my inner haruka fanboyism tells me haruka is best but i really dont know now =/

Well now I guess the saying "saving the best till last" fits this show perfectly.

I did put Karou's arc as no.1 simply cause the fanboy in me just wouldn't have it any other way but even tho Karou is still my no.1 girl Tsukasa is by the far the best arc of the series.

This was great and it was a great way to finish up.

Nice combo attack from Tsukasa, wonder how many button presses that took?

Drunk Maya-chan again!
I liked how she just shouts out she wants a boyfriend and the other teacher responds with "ehh?....I think you should cut back on the drink"

Oh and some Haruka and Sae service!

Now I'm eagerly awaiting the next ep as it's something I've been looking forward to for some time!

Same here with me, Dobby. I wish they put one for Kaoru as well(Is a fanboy of her). As for Tsukasa's arc, I can say that it was fun to watch and get to know her. I loved when she cried and hit Junichi and Junichi(you masochist) laid there with a smile and hugged her. That scene was quite powerful. Then we get to see her 10 years later with Junichi's child(mini Tsukasa)?! Man, did that bring a smile to my face. Well done, Tsukasa. Ten. Next stop. Kamizaki Risa. I is curious.

Mini Tsukasa reminds me of Ushio in Clannad where she got her genes from her mother.

So, I suppose this is one of those episodes where everyone with speculations can say they were correct in a way.

It became pretty clear at the beginning (as soon as she started the fake-crying) that this was all an act she was putting on after all -- a front thick enough to keep even Junichi out, but designed around a preconception that this was who he wanted her to be. So indeed, he just needed to affirm that he liked all sides of her (including that inner part) and she could be herself with him again. It was due to that inner, honest part that he fell in love with her, so without that she just wasn't the same. The funny thing is that, in a way, this means that Junichi's idea was actually right -- that apologizing and getting everyone's help would make the festival work; that's just what she did and all was well with the festival. And it did come out after all that -- deep down -- she had an objective beyond just her pride and selfishness in making the festival a success as well (it wasn't just about looking good on her resume -- her kindness isn't all part of the facade), so he was right to assume that making the festival work was important to her (and more important than her pride). And in the end, he was able embrace her honestly and completely, and showed that he understood that both sides of Tsukasa were good and he wanted it all. That along with the revelation brought things into balance, and now Tsukasa can be her "true self" with him (warts and all), demonstrated by her opening up and telling him about her past, and the change from an "agreement" to a "promise".

So in the end, it's a "perfect ending", but still a bit less than "pure"; it sort of validates that you might need to use a facade with others to get ahead, but you should at least be honest with those you love. Perhaps that itself is just being honest, too.

And the epilogue was great, of course. Hope the Blu-Rays add one for the other heroines that were missing one.
