Clannad - Requests for new threads

Since the Clannad forum is limited (only Mods and Admin can create new threads), this thread serves as a way to request a new thread to be created.

Please post here if you wish to request a new Clannad thread. Please bear in mind that we will only accept reasonable requests, we wish to maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (so no pointless threads cluttering up the place).

Don't forget that you may still post in existing threads as usual, the only restriction is that you may not create new threads within this particular forum.

well ive seen this in other sub-forum and thought this one could use one as well. Im talking about a favorites quote's thread seems Clannad will have some very good one.

Here is a example:
"Damned Rugby players...."
"They won't hear you if you're that quiet.
"DAMNED RUGBY PLAYERS!!"
"Eeee!"

Perhaps a 'favourite moments of CLANNAD' thread? But we'd probably have to wait for a few more episodes before doing so. Starting a thread with only two or three replies are not really worth it for the mods.

err... considering how new the series is (and as some side characters aren't even introduced yet), it is really to soon to do so.
Usually, they are done during mid series, or when the show has ended.

Well, here's a thought. I suggested the "Favourite Main Characters" thread back for Lucky Star, and that worked out quite well.

Not that I'm saying we should implement it now (even I think it's too early in the series for anything like that), but maybe we can implement it somewhat earlier than a "Favourite (all) Characters" thread?

As far as I'm concerned, it's a no.

Lucky Star was way different than Clannad and making something related to the main characters was absolutely justified since, from the very beginning, it was clear who they were. But here? Unlike LS, This is a plot oriented tale, hence I wouldn't go as far as introducing "main characters" discussions or poll. Besides, at this point of time (episode 2), who are the main characters? Anime virgins cannot know, and must not know before the anime says it is time.

I'm afraid we'll follow the model of "Kanon" instead. So expect an all chars favourite poll later in the series (in the middle if it's 24-26 episodes, at the end if it's 12-13).

In all seriousness though - there is little reason for a favorite character poll when we have barely had a taste of some characters and their personalities. For the moment it doesn't boil down to much more than first impressions with characters like Tomoyo / Fuko / Kotomi/Ryou/whatever. Since it is pretty much a given this is going to be 24 episodes, i am envisioning two character polls - one at the middle (around ep12-13), and one when the series ends.

As someone who played through Kyou's scenario, I already get that "tsuntsun" and "deredere" feeling right off the bat, the moment she throws her various types of dictionaries at Tomoya, and then blushing and trying to defend herself everytime Tomoya catches her making a gaffe.

I would like to request a poll thread dedicated to Kyou, specifically: Is Kyou a tsundere? This is clearly a grave matter that concerns us all.
