Mirror's Edge
Here is a trailer for this game with refreshing graphics.
Anyone hear anything about this game or played it? I cannot seem to get my hands on it from any friends to try it out so I would like to hear people's opinions on it.

Wha? This game already got released! I figured it wouldn't be out till early 2009.
I want to play it, cause I've bee loking for a game that takes first person view seriously (without too much emphasis on guns). Also the atmosphere reminds me of Portal (empty and beautiful)

Great First Person Platformer.
But extremely short, unless you like going back to replay the missions or doing time trials and speedruns. In my case I don't like that, so 6 hours was extremely short for my taste. It seemed like an incomplete game. Nonetheless, it was very entertaining for that short time. |

You can play to a 2D version (BETA) of the game here: http://www.bornegames.com/?page_id=369
And EA just made official that they will support this 2D remake |

I thought it was a great game, Mirror's Edge.
Worth a rent, not a buy. The story is definitely interesting and the game itself is lots of fun, as well as the time trials and speed runs (each level in the story you have to beat in a certain amount of time). But like I said... Really not worth the buy. It plays so smoothly. <3 Edit: Oh... It's a short game too. If you add up all the default times of the speedruns after beating the game and add an hour on to it that's 'maybe' how long it is?
