This was an ok episode for me, iirc this is after UI's death then, why is Gray so cheerfull?
Anyway Gray is one of my favorites Characters in Fairy Tail so it's nice to have a Spin-off of him.
btw this will be released every month?

Actually, the title is Tale of Fairy Tail, not "Tail of..."

IKR, that's one of the things that felt off with the first chapter.

That just makes it more interesting though, I think. Maybe this is before she died and he's just separated from her?

Unlikely. People are just forgetting that Gray wasn't some sullen emo before the Galuna Island arc. Just look at his flashback to Erza joining. Gray was all brash, kind of full of himself, and attempting to push Erza around for her anti-social behavior.

Gray really can't catch a break. Right after dealing with one dark guild he now has to deal with another. I thought Nano was going to travel with Gray for a while but it is still nice she got a happy reunion with her parents.

It's kinda funny how now Gray is dealing with a dark guild targeting a councilman and not too long ago in the main manga a dark guild was targeting councilmen. Maybe there is some sorta connection like an earlier attempt at obtaining F.A.C.E.

Gray-kun sure is having it rough, couldn't even get some breakfast with a complete stranger on the train...but hey, at least the car that got smashed wasn't the one he was in!

I actually think that the Deliora stuff may have already happened(?) because the destruction of that demon's egg seemed to remind him of something else... which was more than a little bit strange, IMO.

^ Well yeah, this spin-off takes place almost immediately after Ur's death.

It's a fun side story. My only pet peeve with it so far is regarding power levels. It does seems to me like the Grey portrayed on it is way stronger than he should have been at that age.

I don't think Chrono Noise was established as a dark guild. I mean, Phantom Lord wasn't a dark guild, and Raven Tail became official, so...

He was flirting around with people he shouldn't, or accidentally caused some large scaled destruction or something.
