Hahah, Beck's one of my favourites so niether would I being realistic (I'm talking about Beck the anime/manga, not Beck the artist).
After reading this though I couldn't hold off any longer, and Vol 3,4 and 5 of the Manga are in the post to me from Amazon UK as we speak

I really like the manga and its artwork. With the vol 4 drawing style was changed a bit, and Holo looks much older Some pages of vol 5 are fantastic. I don't understand why many ppl underrate it and tell that anime/novel artwork is much better. Holo from the manga is my favorite Holo. Koume Keito is great...

Just as Tyr pointed out regarding the LNs, Rightstuf is also selling the manga Volumes 1-5 for a good deal for all of those who have yet to pick up the series.

Hmmm, I have a friend who I "turned to Spicy Wolf" who loved the anime... maybe she'd like the manga (or the novels.... or both).

Hmm, that's a shame. I guess because Holo is sort of "in the background" for about half of that arc?

Yes, volume 6 (which will be out in March) covers the end of season 1 and the season 2 OVA. There are some minor differences in the story but they match pretty well.

But I'm still trying to fill in the gaps in my collection of the postcards and illustration cards... I am sure I will be able to get them once the entire manga series is finished and people sell them for a lot of money!
