A noob question
My question is:
Are new episodes of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni kai released every week, every second week or whatever? In that case. On what day and time? Asking this so i can start download, watch and seed the minute it releases :P Sorry if it's an annoying question but i don't seem to find a answer to this question anywhere thanks in advance. |

Yeah, once a week. Although subbing groups are usually consistent, there's no telling when they'll actually finish subbing an episode or if they're intending to do a dual release. Even with a popular series like Nodame Cantabile there were some problems.

Rule X, Y, Z is something that became clear in Minagoroshi-hen, the Q&A post is pretty much right, but I'll just add another version (from the unofficial Higurashi wiki) here.
Overall, the three rules are what prevents Rika and her friends from leading a normal life past June of 1983. Spoiler:

What is the name of the instrumental song that plays at the very beginning of the fifth episode to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai?
In which soundtrack is that song included? It is a different rendition to the instrumental song, Yui, which is the 25th track included in the second Higurashi soundtrack for the anime. |

The track played in this part is "Main Theme", which is the very first track for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Original Soundtrack 1
Yui is in fact an alternative version of the original track. (in, fact it is even named : "Main Theme - Yui" ) There are also other alternatives versions, such like "Main Theme - Tsumi" (2 versions: n°3 and n°17) and "Main Theme - Ai" (n°11), the three of them are in the second OST

I have a translation question that I've been trying to answer on my own. Is Rena's "I'm going to take you home" in English translated from "もちをかえり"* in Japanese?
Note: My Japanese listening comprehension skills are underdeveloped ^^;. *mochi wo kaeri

No, the first season was mostly about setting up the mystery and story. The second is about answering the mystery and resolving the story. Naturally, it loses its creepiness and suspense as you learn more. The first season isn't that gruesome though. There weren't many graphic scenes; It was just really creepy because of the atmosphere and you knew very little about what was going on.

Specifically, I don't really like to see people's organs hanging out of their bodies or a cute little girl stabbing herself in the head...or a bishounen clawing out his throat...yeah....stuff like that... That's why I didn't want to watch "-koro ni" Corpses lying in blood pools don't bug me that much but...innards...are EW.
