This is actually pretty deep. The word "correct" is more associated with a fact being true. The word "right" is frequently associated with "moral righteousness".

For example : it may be correct for you to sacrifice someone else for your survival, but it's not "right".

Last episode was rather exposition heavy, but this one.... is same in that respect, but twice as enjoyable. Anyway Lancer is both Badass and bro. He is one of my most favourite characters in Nasu.

For EMYA vs Emya, it really made me reminiscent old good times when Alex and Gil bullied Saber, she really should take a hint.

As for Shiro, I don't remember who said it (maybe Enstein?) that repeat same thing again and again while expecting different result is insane, yet he just charge into Death End without single hesitation. I guess he just have to be suicidal no metter which route he takes. At least he is more showy about it this time.

Oh come on, no it doesn't. You definitely need the context there.

"Steel" is a common metaphor to refer to swords or the like, so that is actually a clever translation. And "maryoku gire" translates to "out of mana" just fine. Granted, "running out of mana" works too (although it misses a word that clearly indicates that state "kaketeiru"), and perhaps would ire people like you less, so that's a missed opportunity on the translator's part (or, I don't know, it could be the script that doesn't make sense in the first place!). And Archer didn't deny Saber, he just asserted that even if he is running out of mana, Shirou still can't kill him anyway.

By the way, the literal translation of this line is "You being correct is just that, nothing else."

"お前の正しさはただ正しいだけのものだ。"

"Omae no tadashisa wa tada tadashii dake no mono da."

Question: for the whole time when Rin was awake in the castle, could she use a command spell to get Saber to save her?

"truth" and "moral righteousness" are two different contexts already.
Also, I know there is a word for this type of wordplay and I googled a bit, it's called Antanaclasis

I'm not sure why she didn't use her Command Spells (if she was able to). When she was awake, the scene in the VN only stated that the ropes that binded her were magic-resistant; along with the fact Rin felt that her magic reserves (or something related to her prana) were completely messed up (maybe Archer did something similar to how he healed Shirou, along with how he knocked Rin unconscious at the church).

Archer would stop the Command Seal same way Rider does in one of the bed ends, right? Or maybe he wouldn't go that far...

They knew it was pretty much not compatible to try to deliver the same descriptive intensity the text did for the fight in the same way if they tried to just animate the fighting, so they decided to deliver it in a different way while keeping the same meaning and adding so many scenes.

why are you so good ufotable

Can someone clarify this philosophical argument for me?

Is Shiro denying that he will end up like Archer? Or is he admitting that he will, but he won't regret it like Archer?

I know right? It was a really great move to have some introspection between Shirou and his inner doubts (taking the form of Archer). I don't even recall Shirou in the novel being that self aware: All I remember is the novel emphasising Shirou's determination not to lose.

It's the latter. Despite knowing what it'll likely bring him, he still admires Kiritsugu's ideals and doesn't think he will regret it, even if it does lead him to hell. When he said he won't become Archer, he said that only because he doesn't believe he will regret anything like Archer did.

This episode was good... I really can't say anything else. I'm amazed. I wonder what the puritans over at MAL think.

On a side note, to me "correct" and "right" are not synonymous.

Wait a second. Then why isn't Archer being healed? He's a perfect copy of the future Shirou so he should have Avalon, too.

But he was healed by Avalon before he said that.
