It's been a long time since I was tired of 'harem hero as sandbag' concept, the very reason I left To-love-Ru and cheap harem stuff (even if they have great plot...), and I basically broke my first DVD of Zero no Tsukaima and put it into incinerator, never looked at that anime again.

I.S. anime wasn't that bad in that region and justified that Ichika has ByakuShiki which will protect him from anything too harmful, and the girls doing that not that often anyway (except in the Novel, for some reason, the violence is even more exaggerated, virtually making the anime milder in slapstick department).

I dunno, maybe I read into it too much, that's why EVERY SINGLE VIOLENCE in Sacred Twins is deconstructed (just take Lingyin thrown her scimitar and Ichika's reaction to it...)

EDIT: That aside, I'll still read your fic since again, it's my current favorite.

ASSUMING I'll use Haruka Tomatsu as VA, which one fits her better, Madoka or Tatenashi? If Tatenahsi, who should fill Madoka's voice?

@ Zero - What do you think about doomed by canon/decoy protagonist POV's? I was gonna put one for chapter 4 where Michael (one of the terrorists against the bombing) kills his partner and even manages to disable the bomb that he was planting. Unfortunately, a FRACTURE squad barricaded the area around him and he has to escape.

Also planned flashback chapters like this such for people like: Allen (Irish's "brother"), Kai Orimura (Ichika's dad), and some others.

Fell asleep rather than taking a nap last night...

@ Eratas: For advice with the flashback chapters, I suggest doing a flashback with whatever character seems relevant in the nearest chapters or the previous flashback.

Say, around chapter 7 of my story, Kyuukai muses about his father. Then his father is the star of the VOTP. Near the end of the VOTP, Kyuukai is about to leave for Chernobyl. Then the next VOTP he leaves.

Tabane makes more of an appearance during chapter 15, and greives for her son. Then for chapter 16, we had her flashback.

Keep the flashbacks related to the characters who have story impacting moments a chapter or two before you actually write the flashback.

@ ALL: I need help. I want to do Ichika's VOTP next after the PT intro soon, but I need just a few more ideas.

Well, you can use the 'missing year' as part to fill for various important event. The missing year is question is between the departure of Rin and the first chapter/ episode.

Unless you want to use canon as standpoint, for example
1. When he meet Houki
1a. They became close as Ichika helped her from the bully...by sending them to hospital (Ichika is very fierce, the reaosn he was taught martial arts in the first place

)
2. When she left
3. When Rin came six months after
3b. See Houki example, Ichika beating those bullies as well
4. Rin left one year prior to the story
5. Missing year where NOTHING was told about it except for Ichika's failed attempt at seeking a Job and ended up spending the free time in cram school and become top rank student (V1 flashback).

@ Rain - Ichika VOTP chapter would sould be about the missing year. No one knows what happened on that year and you can fill it. Alternatively, it can be about the time he was kidnapped and Chifuyu had to save him.

Side note - You don't mind Akira screwing up and shooting the suspect before he can tell them about the scattered bombs?

@ Zero - How long has PT been existing now?

No information of it, sadly, there's many thing in Canon that have yet to be addressed, or maybe I just missed it since the info is often inserted between walls and walls of pointless harem antics.

I think Supporting Protagonist die a lot in thriller/ war novel, but still mostly from Main Character's POV. For POV bearer to die suddenly is definitely dramatic moment.

Its up to you either way because frankly speaking, either way it's good.

What dangerous is that if one or more readers grows attached to Irish, and having him die will strike the hell out of him. Irish also already became a part of male OC ensemble.
