Dammit why couldn't these be released in PDF FILES?! I only got volumes 10 and 11 chapters!! The rest is either saved on my ebooks on ipod or on my android phone.......

Dammit volumes 1-3 and 5 are gone....the rest are up there until Magref gets his translations I am guessing...I love it..mondaiji is asked to be taken down but not testament......

Hahaha....and what's even better is I think Testament of Sister New Devil; isn't even on the list of novel to be taken down....at any event I GOT THEM ALL!! Anyway with Baka Tsuki moving their servers (possibly), think all the novels that were taken down will go back up?? If so we should focus on saving volumes 1-3 and 5!!

No, but its hinted that Kadokawa might be entering the light novel market with their Kadokawa Bookwalker Global. They sell their LNs digitally through that app.

Never used it, but apparently its pretty good.

YbK: Doesn't matter. Kadokawa's DMCA notice covers all languages, possibly even Esperanto and Khmer.

Hey everyone. I guess everyone can probably figure out why I'm here...

Spoiler for Recollection and Reminiscing :

As I can see from recent posts, you guys already know what I am about to say. It is sad to say but Baka-Tsuki got hit with a DMCA, and Mondaiji was one of the Light Novels that was included. It hurts to see nearly 3 years worth of editing be taken down in mere minutes, but it has to be done.

I have very fond memories of Mondaiji. Working with Firebird and magref and the other editors, the discussions that were held here and over at the Baka-Tsuki forums, driving other members of Baka-tsuki crazy with my constant questions regarding formatting for editing, the Volume 9 or Short Novel incident... Always striving to give the best reading experience for the readers, even if it meant a lot of time spent. Hell, my work on Mondaiji and the other Light Novels I worked on even got me a job for a VN that Sekai Project might license...

I never really imagined that I would even be around for this long either. Alas, school and work did take a lot of my time away, so I was no longer as active as I would have liked. However, lurking around and reading all the posts made me elated. I figured Mondaiji would disappear after some time as other Light Novel have, yet we were able to find translators that stepped up and gave us a bounty of translated work.

I have no clue where to go from here. Most of my Light novels I was focused on editing have either been licensed/taken down due to DMCA (Black Bullet, Strike the Blood, Mondaiji) or we were able to see it completed (Maou). I am always open to other projects, so who knows, maybe I'll come across a Light Novel on Baka-Tsuki that grabs my interest, and I take the helm of editor again.

I'll still be around lurking though. Like always, I can be reached through pm either here, Baka-Tsuki, Twitter, or Batoto.

I was really looking forward to Last Embryo, to read about the adventures and journey Tatsunoko Tarou was going to take us. The artwork was fantastic as well and the dynamic the group would have after the time skip was something to look forward to. Sadly, all things must come to a end. However, the next experience awaits. Thank you to everyone that supported us through the years! I look forward to our next encounter, wherever that may be.

ahh. that's why. baka-tsuki does indeed translate ln's into many languages. i thought only Yen press was capable of DMCA's

haha I might have to take you up on that wikia offer. Definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but it had to be done and I understand the reasons behind it. With a lack of novels to check up on to make sure I'm putting in the correct information would be the biggest worry xD

It makes me wonder if Mondaiji might be licensed and translated to english, but I have no idea whether it is a pipe dream or not. It would be marvelous to see a official translation though.

That would be awesome...given this is like over 100 pages I am trying to make pretty....XD Been editing as I read.
