About two new anthology books that I posted last page, as I read on Katanon's blog it seems they're familiar with Honobono Tsumihoroboshi.
I really love this handwriting series, so I wonder how they are...

As Joly said, there's new anothology series: Hinamizawa Onihanashi by DNA Media Comics.

And new Onikakushi-hen novel book. This is same illustrator with Kodansha box's novels. So... they will remake all novel books?

Just read Hidepo (Higurashi Daybreak Portable) ME manga.
I know the author is Mion's fan, but... As Mion's fan as well, it's hard for me to accept this Mion's character!
My Mion can't be like this!! It's shameless!!! ( > 3< )
The story, as a whole, is not bad. It's more like a manga of action game, and more better than Hidepo manga.

I am a huge Higurashi fan! I have only read up to about 3 volumes or so of the Manga, or...maybe it was..eh, basically I have read:
-The Cotton Drifting Arc
-The Time Killer Arc
and one other, I believe. I love Rena! She's my favorite! I like the Cotton Drifting Arc the most.

There is a lot of manga of higurashi if you count the Antologies, and I am confused.

It's an anthology collection.
Anthologies are same as Doujinshi, but they're from a publisher.
Anthologies in Kataribanashi-hen are special ones. They was chosen and won literary prizes. That's why they're better than others.

Not only Mion, I'm also Shion fan \( ' 3' )/ SatoShion scenes is one of my top fav in Hidepo ME manga.
Beside Mion part, everything is okay with me.

Spoiler for Summary:

It starts with the scene Satoshi awakes in dump. There's someone has a mirror in hands.

Next day, Chie gives everyone an investigation, asking about their dream in future. Shion tells about a legendary magic mirror that can grant your wish, and Rena shows that mirror which she got one from dump. The club members decide, it will be a prize for a tag battle game. When Mion and the rest have gone, Satoshi appears before Shion-Satoko.

Keiichi-Mion meet Miyo-Tomitake in their first battle. They win. Miyo tells to Tomitake about that mirror, it may give unfortunate. Because the wish that is granted by other power, someday will disappear... While going to Furude shrine, Mion sees Satoshi by chance. She has a strange feeling about that Satoshi.

Next battle is againt Rena-Rika team. Some fan-service scenes. It seems Rika has met Satoshi as well, but she knows what that feeling is. Before she tells to everyone, there's a person has attacked her with a teddy bear from behind. Rika faints.

The third battle should be againt Shion-Satoko team. But while fighting againt Satoko, Keiichi is also attacked by Satoshi with a teddy bear in his hands. They pause the battle, 2vs3 is not fair. Keiichi asks Satoshi when he's back to Hinamizawa. Satoshi can't answer, but Satoko do that for him. Satoshi knows something and runs away. In mean while, Mion and Shion are fighting each other. Mion realizes something is wrong in Shion's story. Satoshi shouldn't know about "Shion", so he couldn't greet Shion as "Shion". Shion doesn't want to believe that, she beats Mion. Satoshi runs to Shion and tells maybe he's not the real one.

Rika awakes and appears with Rena before them. The one who attacked Rika is Shion. Because she has known about Satoshi already, and doesn't want Rika tell that truth to anyone that Satoshi is not real one, but from that magic mirror. Everyone guess it's by Satoko. Shion finally accepts the truth, Satoshi consoles her (I love this scene~). Satoshi has a request before he's gone...

Keiichi and Satoko are back. The final battle is coming. With the reason Shion got a (fake) wound, Satoshi replaces her in Satoko team. Keiichi-Mion VS Houjou siblings. The battle begins! Keiichi gets hurt, tells Mion run to prepare for "X-plan". While Mion doesn't know what should she do, Shion appears before her... They switch place and Mion team wins.

Time to back the reality. Keiichi-Mion give the mirror to Satoshi, and he gives to Satoko. She breaks it by herself...
