Here's a few:
Zelda II The Adventure of Link (NES sidescrolling Action-RPG). Fan's seems to be already on it. But I don't think anyone has finished or will finish this project... they're calling it a remake, I say it's an HD remaster. The 7th Saga (SNES RPG). Xenosaga Trilogy (PS2 RPGs - 3 games) Last edited by SvenCalBayan; 2017-03-02 at 01:02. Reason: Updates |

SRW Alpha 1 and SRW Z1
Reason : lot of my fav mecha series are there, long gameplay, nice secrets, and plot started from the beginning unlike nowadays SRW that put some series in post-plot. Will be more awesome if they get official Eng sub like V. Also CTR maybe~ |

Thaaaat would be looooooong list. Let's start from Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, then Xenogears, Final Fantasy 4 and 6, Vagrant Story, Star Ocean 1 and 2, Golden Sun series, Legend of Mana...
Someone even made festival level of Chrono Trigger on Unreal 4 and it looked just fantastic! Sadly they create things like... Let's take FF4 for example. First remasteres looked like this: But last one ended like this: :/ And let's not forget about this blasphemy: Last edited by Sacredus; 2017-03-02 at 03:54. |

> What kind of games would you guys want HD remastered?
None. All my favorite old games are just fine as-is, or they have successors that would make polishing up the original kind of pointless, for example OpFlash has been replaced by ARMA, and Starcraft 1 can be played as a Starcraft 2 mod. Infinity engine games are sprites and 2d backgrounds, not much to "remaster" there. HD remasters I played in recent times are FF10, which was okay - I picked it up because it served the role of a PC port, and I felt like replaying the game. I would've had just as much fun with the original though. Homeworld, same story. I like that there's new stuff in AoE2 HD, but there's also a bunch of new technical problems. Deus EX Revision was just kind of lame. None of these remasters felt necessary. I would like to see some obscure console games ported to PC, like Tales of Vesperia. I'm not gonna find an xbox or a ps1 or a DS or whatever just to play one game. And if they want to tack on some HD assets and call it a remaster, fine, whatever.

Forget Xenosaga, those games already looked great, art style shifts aside. Let's have a nice reworking of Xenogears, where all the human sprites looked like amorphous blobs of jelly. They could fix up the broken translation too, and maybe add in dungeons for disc 2 they never could so we didn't just get narration on a chair and then suddenly a boss.
Also Zangeki no Reginleiv. Awesome game, terrible graphics, and the Wii really could not properly handle running it in the first place. Those frame drops whenever there were tons of enemies (always) or explosions were happening (often) are burned into my mind forever. While I'm on the subject of the Wii, a Lost Kingdoms remaster on a different console would be great. That game was awesome fun too, but again neither the Gamecube nor the Wii could handle it, at least in multiplayer, which was the best part. It wasn't exactly the prettiest, graphically, either. They could easily fix that.

Hm... when I think about it... a remaster of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division would be nice... They could put in all the stuff they had to take out because they coudn't finish it right and maybe hire a real manga artist to do the artworks this time.
