i can agree that it has been shaky lately, as far as the plot goes. I don't really have a problem with the art, it looks a bit more realistic to me. I'm happy to see new character(mostly enemy). and it's nice to see the order gettin their asses handed to them everyonece in a while. Once the plots back in flow i think everything will be back to my liking.

It's January issue, which came out in December.

Different name translations from different groups pretty much made me dizzy. From the start, the name translations were pretty excellent and understandable, until the recent chapters and change of translating groups, forgive my rant, but I just couldn't follow the chapters when I was confused on why the sudden name change.

Special mentions from recent chapters..

Aleister Crowley -> Arystar Krowry (what? Aleister Crowley was way better)
Rabi -> Lavi (made me dizzy here)
Tiki -> Tyki
Rhode -> Rodo -> Road (This messed up my mind when I wonder who that person was until I noticed the name change).

The names on the right are the official names. Though it's Krory, not Krowry. Almost all of the names were shown at the end of one or two episodes in the anime, and Krory's name was shown on his button in the manga.

Shouldn't there be a new chapter out about now ?If the manga switched to monthly,it's been 1 month since the last chapter...

official Japan release is 4th december (an January issue)... since its only 27nov there is still some time for that to happen ^^..... currently people are watching out for spoilers (even jap people !)...... so dont expect far too early release...

anyway last month it was an early leak release ^^ its not like it will happen every month (sadly...)

well maybe on monday we might get spoilers (even jap people thik so).... I'm personaly dieing from the waiting... :P even looking on 2ch once in a time (20-30min) with hope that a spoiler will appear ^^

Just a quick question, ive finished the anime so, any problems for me when i want to transition to the manga?

I cant exactly tell whether i should read this from the beginning after watching the anime.

There's nothing that happens in the manga that doesn't happen in the anime, as far as I can remember. There's a bit of stuff that's anime only, but other than Kanda's lotus flower thing I don't think any of it would be even the slightest bit contradictory.

i would say it's an easy transition, i was in your situation, and i just came into the manga where the anime left off. they both follow the same story as far as i see

well if you ended up watching anime than you should read manga from chapter...157 for example (the scene where they talk about lenalees innocence) it has some other parts that we did not see in anime so better start from this point ^^

so yeah start for best from ch157

I dont get it.... "what is so confuseing in it" ??? I personaly dont see anything strange at all...

the manga entered a different move serious level than before.... and the story is even more interesting than it was.... mystery follows a mystery.... for me its more interesting in story and all... compared to naruto or bleach [this one is a plot tragedy... fights after fight... mask after mask.... nothing new... the only new stuff is that someone fight someone which he was not fighting before and that's all to the story...]

yet here the story is build very good... and makes it interesting... story twists and all... (you are not able to tell what will happen next... there are so many possibilities...)

Execution of this chapter was VERY strange IMO. It should have been a really serious chapter, but the way it was done almost made me thought I was reading a Omake or parody at first.
