[Manga] One Piece 446 Discussion

This chapter restored my faith in One Piece, although I'm still thinking that the author was watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show while stoned.

Quick Summary:

--Chopper, Usopp and Nami are greeted by a long haired woman rising from a well. (The Ring?) She starts throwing plates at them.

--As explained by the mad doctor who comes out of the castle, due to a One Piece-esque random series of events, she hates dinner plates.

--Initially Usopp isn't allowed to enter but an exception is granted.

--They have dinner, and the Doktor warns Chopper never to peek inside his lab. He says he's after the holy grail of making the dead come to life (didn't pay much attention to this)

--Nami has a bath since she was inappropriately touched by zombies. Chopper and Usopp are on guard. Suddenly, Nami is cornered by the invisible man who wants her as his wife.

I'm thinking that the mad doktor is the invisible man, since he felt up Robin on the ship and now Nami, and the reason why Usopp wasn't allowed in was because he's a guy

--She manages to kick the invisible man in the crotch; Usopp rushes in, sees Nami naked, thanks his lucky stars.

--The invisible man escapes out the window and Usopp sends an explosive bullet after him.

--The rest of the Straw Hat crew arrive on the island and meet the Cerberus. Robin thinks it's cute while Luffy wants to eat it.

I find it terribly amusing that Usopp's knee-jerk reaction upon seeing Nami naked is scream "Thank you very much!" I would do so too if I saw Nami spreadeagled against the stone wall naked (no joke, this is really what happens to her in the chapter)

There are bits of references like a zombie-fied Mona Lisa in the dining room.

Well with exception of the last scene with nami
This chapter i felt a little meh, compared to the others IMO... (i guess the feeling is mutual, since the lack of comments on the chapter)
There was some good development nessasary for the arc, but the Plate girl is not too interesting, and personally i'm not too much liking the Doctor from a character design... he's just too vampie like and such, kinda like he fits in with the environment TOO well for someone who doesn't actually originate from the environment itself; it's kind of like an overkill. If he was actually FROM the island like the other characters then it would work better, but since he's from elsewhere i would expect him to look a little more not-vampire like... i usually do like most of Oda's designs, but this feels a little weak to me
