*ahem*..... well anyway, Inner Moka steals the spotlight. Seems that the production values have gone up a notch (not counting the invasion of the censor bats), the animation for the fight was done rather well for Gonzo, meaning they actually took their time on this one.

Well if anyone's too hung up about it, they can count the numer of times Censor Bat comes on per ep.

Also note there was a deleted scene in season 1 where Gin senpai was groping a student and was censored by the bat. Man if the censorship is up to 80% then the hell it's not even called fan service anymore. IT'S ANNOYANCE!!!

They've toned down the panty shots to a level where it's gonna piss you off. ACK!!!

Censorship is common, nay, expected on the broadcast versions of these kinds of shows these days. I see no reason to get so worked up about it. Besides, for every panty Koyasubat covered up, there were plenty more still in view. That, and most people in this thread clearly like the characters - whether they're censored or not does not change the fact that Moka is Moka. Finally, fanservice and tittilation is just as much about what isn't seen as what is seen. The human imagination is a powerful thing, you know.

So that's why, at least as far as I'm concerned, the first episode was a lot of fun.

There are many way it can go as it could:
A. Make you more eager to buy the DVD for those shots
B. Annoy you
C. Indifferent because you're not watching the show for pantsu.
Overall it is likely to even out nothing of market value was lost, unless group B>A.

I have to say DISCOTHEQUE makes a better ED than OP. lol, reminds me of Yakitate Japan with ED2. As for Trinity Cross anticipating with great expectation because it’s a kickass song.

Goddammit, there's so little good anime adaptations of good manga these days

Then again, this is only the first episode... I've got to give it a few more before I can even think to start drawing conclusions (although it probably won't take long...)

Hey Gonzo, here's an idea- why don't you, even if it's just for one epsiode, give us Vamp Tsukune in one hell of a fight? That'll boost your ratings through the roof

How often does the censor bat come in? I'm having a tough time justifying viewing this season if the production team decided to focus on ecchi and then censor all of it. Does the bat animate? How annoying is it? (are we talking like Air Gear where it just appears out of nowhere. The caps shown in this thread look like they do).

Iam with you. Someone needs erase all those mini bat cells they overlay on the girls. If smoke and blur wasn't enough it'll be crows, lines or BATS. bah!

Well I, for one, hope we get to see Mr. Bat (I forget his name, which I'm pretty sure was mentioned at some point either in R+V or some chapter of R+V II) in action at some point. Those who've read the early chapters of R+V II know what I'm talking about.
