Oh yeah, like early in the series when Kallen remarks that Tamaki is using funds to have fun with the young (presumably female) recruits. That was obviously thinly veiled jealousy. NOTE: Sarcasm.

Jesus! I did not remember that at the time. OMG, Tamakallen was so meant to happen! I knew that all that stuff about Lelouch was just a mask for where the real fire is.

Its not having met Lelouch that mattered, in a manner of speaking--its having met Zero.

And honestly, if she had never met Zero, her life would have been a lot shorter than it would have normally been. In fact, she likely would've died when she and Naota stole C.C.'s holding tank. Without Lelouch having gotten the Geass and infiltrating the G-1, she would have died when her terrorist buds had been found by the Britannian soldiers, if Jeremiah didn't smoke her beforehand.

Hmm, now that's a very difficult situation to imagine since, given the directions their lives went, it was pretty much inevitable that they would meet up. No matter what the situation whether, whether Kallen died before Zero made his debut, whether Lelouch never became Zero, or if Kallen just never joined up with Zero, I can't imagine she would've had a very long life.
