When I start to think about it wasn't Arisa supposed to take care of back room for her family?
That what her grandfather was preparing her for and she said she was ready. (In other word to sleep with client.) By the way, only Ayase and Inori did not betray Shu. ( Though Tsugumi force Ayase to stay inside the van.) |

So I guess people missed my question?
Where did Ayase and Tsugumi fall on this? Did they betray Shu like the rest of the students, or did they just not know this was even coming?

I think perhaps Tsugumi wasn't told everything. Near the end, they all looked like they were ready to kill Shu. Would Tsugumi really agree to help or not intefere them if she knew that Shu's death would be the final part of the plan?
One thing is for sure, none of the students (Except maybe Arisa) knew that Gai and some others were going to turn up and slice Shu's arm off.

Wow, so after that b*tchy bit back during the whole infection disaster where she has the balls to blame Shu for that whole mess, now she throws him to the wolves and wouldn't let Ayase do something? Yet another character I'd like to shotgun now........
Seriously, after all the $hit this show and the writers have put Shu through, he'd better get one helluva good ending, after getting new powers and showing up everybody who screwed him. The guy has one bad episode, brought about by a very traumatic moment, after more than half a series of people already screwing with him, and suddenly he's the antichrist and must be revolted against? Wow.

It looks more like Tsugumi protected Ayase as "there is nothing they can do". Inori couldn't help at the very moment the students were betraying him, so both getting out without their void ready is basically suicide.

(Personally I believe that all students except Inory & Ayase know about it) It look like even Arugo know about it. |

Time for the staff to kill off more characters. And I guess each of Shu's friends fading out in the 2nd ED, leaving only Inori, really did have meaning. If so, it'll be Inori pulling him along for a bit until he can get his bearings and he'll take the lead again.

If Tsugumi told Shu = game over for students. (Shu can solo all of them with Inori Void.) But she already know that and that's why she stay quiet. Edit: Don't you just love the students who said that Shu use them to get out even though he, Inori and Ayase can get out early if it's not for them? (Shu And Inori can fly with her Void and Ayase can fly too.) |

This show is trying too hard to generate tension and drama - it's like no one has compassion, loyalty, or even a brain any more. The moment Shu got people out of the red zone, BAM! total betrayal. Right after Tsugami was saved from students, BAM! she threw Shu under the bus when she found that out students had already turned against him. And 5 or 6 episodes ago when Gai just confessed how much he wanted to be like Shu, BAM! he chopped off Shu's arm the moment he re-appeared.
I bet the anime team will bring Haru back next episode and kick Shu in the nuts when he is down. |

And even if he somehow managed to talk them back - would that make any difference after Gai's comeback?
