Happy Negative Marriage

Just read three scan'ed chapters today.

Looks interesting.

Summary from OM

Quote:
Keitaro Satou is 30, successful at his job...and single. With worries about his future, he decides to have an arranged marriage to satisfy himself and his family, yet while his prospective "wife" is a beauty, problems are bound to pop up!
Spoiler for so far:

It's done by the same peeps behind Nana to Kaoru, so expect some good fanservice shots >:3

Spoiler for pic links:

Wooo!! First post!! EVER!!

Anyway, I just read this as well, seems fairly promising from what I read. It does make me wonder what, as you stated, her "problem" is. Come onnnnn more chapters XD

Her problem? Based on the 1st three chaps, its obviously
Spoiler for speculation:

Anyway, I like this story, the main char felt like someone I could relate to. I'm not 30, but I'm in a similar situation(i mean in terms of lifestyle). Better than TnH, but not NtK. Actually I expect this to not be as interesting to me down the line like TnH was. Once a relationship is established, it's rather difficult to keep the drama interesting with no 'competition'. Hopefully, I'll continue to like HNM as it goes on.

Shonen Gahosha aka Young King. Never hard of them.

The title reads very interesting. So after checking out the synposis, I think I'll take a look at few pages.

i read the first chapter awhile back, and it already feels really cliche. and the author uses tons of nana to kaoru facial expressions in it.

This is his drawing style, he is using same facial expressions in his other works too. BTW he just started another new manga, this time non-hentai futanari.

Just read he's new series pretty interesting especially how the sooner or later love interest that was in ch 1, how will he react to it?...

Anyways about the girl in this series my guess is that she either has drinking issues or daddy issues heck maybe both which makes it hard for guys to be with her thus having no choice but have an omai (potential marriage interview) to get a guy eventhough she's good looking...

Chapter 8 out.
I loved the first pages. Why ? Boobies in color.
Anyways, i know it's ... strange but i found that "cute". Cute for two heros who are 30 years old ? Yes. ^^'

Not impressed with this work at all. Amazume have some amazing works, sadly, this one here is failing to deliver.

It's surely because we saw to much of his works actually ?
Nana to Kaoru, Nana to Kaoru Arashi, Happy Negative Marriage.
In one side, need the end of Toshiue no Hito. :/

Well I already read the ending of the Hito but in Japanese. it was a good manga certainly better than Happy negative so far.

You are more into "loli" than big-breasted girl ?
(More seriously, i wanted to know how Toshiue no Hito finished ...)

it had a good ending, but one could expect that.

And I do not care if it is a loli or not as long as its an interesting character, which frankly none of the Happy Negative characters are so far.

NtK and all other amazumes mangas, including Nidaime wa Cosplayer or Koi Wa Misoji Wo Sugite Kara tops this one without any problems.

For me, despite being one of the later Aamazume works it is one of his worst works if not the worst.

No, the worst one is about the futa girl . Toshiue no Hito till chapter 10 was one of best seinen romances I've ever read. After chapter 10 is was only average, slice of life, romance.

I will have to disagree - sure the theme is challenging to like but the story actually isnt that bad and it is MUCH more original than Happy Negative could ever be so I would actually say that Bura Girl is a better manga than Happy Negative. I would rather read about futunari girl with her specific adventures rather than repetitive ode to 30 year old virgin who continues to fail and the fail some more.
