I agree, she would protect Allen. But I don't think Lenalee could lie very well, especially in a trial... 'Lawyers' have their ways to make people say stuff that they want to hear, but only things that they want to hear.

The trial is basically torture him till he confesses. There's nothing with lawyers or anything. At least that's what was said in the chapter and that's how they did it in the old days. There nothing going to happen to leanlee though. She could get locked up at most( they don't want the precious hart in the wrong hands).

There isn't anything too serious going to happen to Allen he will be saved or go trough it with sheer will power. Lean Lee's brother went internal to protect the exorcist he'll also think of something.

Most of the chapter involved hilarious stuff with Allen and company been put to do carry and handle paperwork by orders of those bureaucrats.

General Cross Marian as always finds his way to weasel out off from the hard work, and if he's been locked up at the Order his handling those officers like his vassals doing all his work instead while he indulges with wine and looks like he's flirting with General Cloud.

The serious stuff occurs in the following:
1. Lenalee already knows who inspector Leverrioux is since she met him once in the past. Lenalee recalls him on the day she was brought up at the Order, that man who greeted her with a devious and malevolent smile.
From that time Lenalee knows full well that Leverrioux is a rotten apple, and she despises him.

2. Officer Howard Links begins his assignment to stay by Allen's side without never taking his eyes off the boy, and prevent him from approaching Cross. The officer hands Allen to do some paperwork while he explains to the boy about the '14th', and that there are total of another '13' Noahs out there.

3. Allen starts seeing the shadow of the '14th' by his side whenever he watched his reflection on a window, which maybe or not starts to trigger within another memory of Mana and him.



It looks like that the manga would be entering now into a memory arc, and if it does I hope the manga-ka finally starts to disclose who Mana was.

Today I went to my local anime convention, held twice every year, and found out that Editorial Vid finally has licensed the D.Gray-man manga for distribution in my country and most likely for the rest of Latin America as well. The first volume will be out on sale by the end of this month.

Night 137: Foundling Child and Pierrot

Louverrier and his men are staying at the Order HQ's to ensure that things will run smoothly according to their interests. But, in spite of the icy announcements, Howard Links treats the exorcists with some pumpkin pie.

Lenalee hurries to Komui's office but gets a nasty shock to see that Louverrier is there. He addresses to her that it's been a few years since they last met. Cut to flashback, Lenalee recalls an ocassion when she was retrieved back to the Order badly beaten and bruised after a failed attempt to escape. The last thing she saw in her memory was Louverrier's ominous figure standing tall above her expressing his disgust and contempt to such a troublesome child.

Lenalee neither has forgotten nor has forgiven Louverrier for the terrible things he did to her hinted by her profuse sweating and her crying eyes. Louverrier tries to break some ice by offering some home-made cakes, but Komui urges Reever to take Lenalee for medical examinations. Still, Louverrier gives the evil eye to Lenalee as she feels a cold chill running down her back.

Appalled and with a ghastly look Lenalee understands that Louverrier came to take supervision on Allen. At the same time, the inspector feels like he has been snubbed off because Lenalee refused to smile back at him, however, Komui advises Louverrier not to go off-topic but to return to the conversation from earlier while turning his back on the inspector.

Back with Allen, Howard Links explains to the boy that the Order knows that the Noah are composed of 13 family members, but a 14th one was borned as well who was erased from their kin. He asks Allen if he knows about this information as well, which prompts him to recall the memory when he met that sinister-looking shadow in the 14th's secret room.

Allen cannot get quite well why does the 14th has anything to do with his supervision, but Links immediately changes the topic by handling Allen some paperwork which has to be finished and delivered by tomorrow. Links is getting annoyed by all the commotion the exorcists are cooking up for the recent change in the management so he suggests Allen to do the paperwork at the library.

Cut to Cross, the Order has not even been an obstacle for him to indulge in his old habits. He orders the inspectors at his charge to buy as many delicacies and food without minding how expensive the bill is going to cost. Sitting by his side is General Cloud Nine, whom Cross is flirting to but she tries to brush off his compliements away.
Out of the blue a pile of papers are dropped on Cross's head by Allen because the boy is disgusted seeing how leisurely his master is sitting comfortably drinking wine and spending money like always he has watch him (Cross) do, and not focusing on things that need to be settled.
Cross knows full well why Allen has come to see, because the boy wants to ask him about the score that he played to stop the ark. Unfortunately, before Allen can made Cross to spit what he wants to hear he's detained by some officers and taken as far away from Cross. Howard Links informs the boy that on administrative orders he's not to approach or remain close to Cross due that he's (Allen) under the supervision of the Order for having a possible connection with the 14th.

Continuing with Louverrier's exchange with Komui, the Inspector discloses that the 14th left a will after his death to a certain someone. Louverrier exposes to Komui that Cross knew beforehand this since the General made contact with the 14th, and so he's implying that there's a connection by the time that Cross took Allen in and sent him to the Order.

Back to Allen at the library, Links bugs Allen non-stop about a possible relation the boy shares with the 14th, since the proof for that statement lies that Allen made the Ark move by playing the score, however, Allen's not hiding anything from anyone and refuses to believe he shares a connection with the 14th.
He also adds on that he didn't know how to play score blaming on the farfetch'd possibility that Cross hypnotized him to play the song to which Links doesn't even for a second.

Links hands to Allen a copy of the score on printout explaining that the score was already reported to Komui. He further pests how did Allen know how to read the score? or who wrote the characters?
Foundation upon the non-ceasing interrogation lies that the Order traveled to different parts of the world in order to find any language which would match with the characters but were not able to, and Links refuses to believe the score is something that the 14th made up.

Allen remains silent all along because he refuses to speak. Mana and he made those characters together and became an Exorcist only for Mana and him.

Cut off to Louverrier, the inspector further discloses that the Order had been following leads on the 14th's will, and finally found it at a man's home. The will read that the 14th was killed off by the Earl but managed to pass on his powers.

All of a sudden the 14th's shadow appears by Allen's side on the window's reflection and tries to persuade Links to turn around to see it himself, but Links sees nothing on the window.

Allen keeps staring at his own reflection seeing how close the 14th's shadow is close to him, as his mind takes off to the lane of memories to the time when Mana and he used to travel the world as a lost child and a pierrot.

was it just me or this inspector was giving lenalee lecherous looks under the pritense of looking at her innocence?

and any ideas on what are they going to do with the person with the powers of the 14th
