Desperately looking for a good (drama)/romance anime
Dear animesuki members,
I have watched alot of anime series, most of them romance ones with or without drama. The problem now is, every other "" romance"" anime I try to watch now doesn''t really fit the requirements I want. For example i''v watched these romance anime ( im very critic) and they''re reallly good. Kimikiss pure rouge Rumbling hearts,( this is what I cal romance/drama, no words for it, very good one). Myself;yourself Suzuka (very good, fits also my requirements) Kaichou wa maid sama( the comedy was not taking the whole anime over,also enjoyed it) Full metal panic( enjoyed the romance) Ichigo 100% Ef: a tail of memories These are the animes with good romance but these days I cant really find a good one. I hate animes like itazura na kiss, b gata h kei. I dont really like japane humor (except fmp). Seriously, my qeustion is: Can anyone give me an anime that is really but I mean really deep touching your heart(romance), if it has got drama than it is also oke. btw: dont mention clannad or any kind of anime with the same art style as clannad because I dont like those eyes :P. Perhaps you could consider these
Honey and Clover Amagami SS Koi Kaze Lovely Complex Toradora cant recall others, but chances are some of these suggestions might not be your cup of tea, just take a look through them anyway. Cheers. |

I'm going to fourth Toradora!, and seeing as you enjoyed Rumbling Hearts, then White Album should also be something to look into. You can also try Diamond Daydreams, but it often forgoes romance in favor of drama, although many of the stories deal with couples anyway.

Toradora starts off as more of a comedy but ends up being quite dramatic.
True Tears seems to fit as well Ano Hana is more of a drama but there's definatly romance involved. Cross Game it's a romance anime disguised as a sports anime,give it one episode and see if it hooks you. edit How could I almost forget 5cm per second that definatly fits

If you like Itazura na Kiss, then I recommend the following list. They are all romances that will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. <:
Unfortunately, in many of these series, the anime is cut off, whereas the manga goes beyond the anime. If you enjoy the following anime, I recommend going a step beyond and reading the manga for a more complete story. - Bokura ga Ita - While the anime is great, the manga continues where the anime leaves off. - Kimi ni Todoke - There are two anime seasons so far but the manga is beyond that. - Kare Kano - Again, the same thing. The manga continues where the anime leaves off. - Aishiteruze Baby - Same deal. The manga continues where the anime leaves off. The anime doesn't have much romance in it but the manga has a lot. - Ichigo 100% - I don't recommend the anime but the manga is amazing. Visualize this, there are about 17 volumes of the manga and about 12 episodes of the anime. The anime is incredibly shortened and it is NOTHING like the manga. |

The most romantic animes I have watched were:
Toradora! Kaichou wa Maid-sama (Which you already watched) Infinite Stratos Valkyria Chronicles Angel Beats Acchi Kocchi I can't promise you that these are heart touching animes like you wanted. But I just wanted to throw some out!

Hmm. This is all the Romance animes that I watched and really liked
 Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo Toradota! Sukitte Ii na yo Kaichou wa Maid Sama True Tears Guilty Crown - It's Action/Romance I think? Already forgot haha Mirai Nikki - Mystery/Romance Tonari no kaibutsu kun - Loved this Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru Kiss x Sis - Echhi/Romance with 2 sisters Higashi no Eden - Mystery/Romance Kimi ni Todoke - Just finished watcing it It's good when you watched till ep 8Steins Gate - Not really a romance but has some, and it's Mystery Hmm, if anyone needs more, just tell me ) And btw, all these that I suggested has some very good art So you'll like almost everything here. I'm sure of it
