I'm not to happy to watch this movie because even though a lot of characters from the original series are coming out I can't help but anticipate that its going to be like every remake from animation to big screen. A huge change in the storyline and characters that I adored being ruined. One thing that I'm very angry about is that they're not putting Timberwolf in the movie.

The threads are already merged. Wich also lead us to the date of the posts at hand (more than a month old)

That is, narutojm likely started another thread without knowing one already existed.

The movie doesn't atract me, never was a fan of G.I.Joe anyway... well, maybe I'll give it a chance.

Nowadays I dont remember much of the GI Joe cartoons but one for sure is the movie is awesome. Action packed from beginning to end. I've read some reviews that there isn't much character development. Seriously! GI Joe is about action! No need of intensive character development.

I go to see this expecting a couple things...

1) Action
2) Explosions

If you look at the GI Joe cartoon...yeah...not really that great, I liked the idea of accelerator suits, especially when it's technology we're not that far from in reality. The suits imo are a better idea then having the Joe's in their cartoon outfits...*facepalm* Also...more than just robots and vehicles will explode.

Super powered bad guys fighting super power good guys. Where have I heard that before?
I'm probably not going to see it. Other movies I can watch, and that movie is just too cliche for me. Yeah, a lot of movies are cliche, but seriously.

I've heard good stuff about this movie, but I'm prioritizing other movies atm, like Inglorious Basters and Pelham 123, but i'll definitely be watching this. Especially because one of my workmates always sings the GI Joe theme song whenever I show up xD

this was worse than Transformers 2 for me and that is saying something as T2 was possibly one of the worst for me. the romance was nowhere and acting followed it out of the door.

i can't belive that hollywood thinks that just because they blow stuff up people will go see it and like it.

the whole film was just so obivios and i really can't imagen people being surprised by anthing in the film. and the CGi was not that good. IMO it was better in T2 and Terminator.

It wasn't as bad as I thought. At least it's better than Transformers 2 in my opinion. It was entertaining despite of its flaws. If you want mindless over the top action movie, then there's no reason not to check this out.

Guys blowing stuff up. And hot chicks.

I like it coz there was blowing stuff. If there was romance there then the movie would be crap.

Sienna Miller was ball bustingly hot but the movie as a whole came off as corny. I've definitely outgrown it but I can see how the younger audience could see it as awesome.

I liked it better than T2 but still, it was rather stupid. Amusing, though - I loved the Eiffel tower falling down.
